"Beautiful Lake Superior Location with Spacious, Updated Rooms The location of this property is definitely a highlight, situated right on beautiful Lake Superior. The property has an interesting layout, with one section set up motel-style and the other more like a traditional hotel. During our stay, the hotel-style section was under construction and unavailable. Our room was nicely updated, spacious, and comfortable. It was refreshing to have a room with plenty of space that also felt modern and inviting. Breakfast is not included with the stay, but there is a Biggby Coffee attached to the property offering its usual menu of coffee, beverages, and food options. Interestingly, the hotel check-in desk is also located in the same area as Biggby, which is a somewhat unusual setup but convenient. The only minor complaint was that the patio doors could definitely have used a good cleaning. Other than that, we had no complaints about our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The comfortable, updated accommodations and beautiful location right on Lake Superior make this a great place to stay. We would happily return."

"If you dont care about fancy, this is your place. They are older houses, but presentable. The house was clean, and was well stocked with incidentals. Outdoor fire pit and table were nice.....we picked up some wood in town...a little inconvenient putting wood bundles in the back of my Mercedes, but vacuums do wonders...lol. Would definitely return again, and plan on doing so again next year, actually. It was quiet, the pond and dam were cool, but didnt get a chance to check them out closer. As it was a little chilly."
