Check in easy! Host was great with communicating. Home location is off busy street but there is easy accessible parking from the back. House is quiet and we slept great during our stay.
The verbo was perfect for our needs. We needed a place big enough for three different families where during the day we could go on adventures and in the evening have a place we could all hang out, relax, play cards, make food and sleep. The basement was perfect for the older kids to hang out! Everything in the kitchen works great. Location is within 20 minutes of Black Hills attractions. The house is on a busy street, but scooters is right next door. Parking in the alley was preferred. Downtown was fun and is about a mile away, could walk if you wanted to. Only complaint was there was not enough paper towels and TP for our group. We did use the washer and dryer for towels as well.
Beds were comfortable. Location was close to two of the venues we had to be at. Working clocks would have been helpful. Manager responded quickly to concerns.
Loved the home, we had plenty of space for our group of 9, 4 of which were all under the age of 9. The basement was perfect for them to hang out at night and while we cooked upstairs. The location was great, about a 10-minute drive to all the attractions we wanted to see in Rapid City, and about a 30-minute drive to Keystone and Mount Rushmore. The road in front of the home was pretty busy, but there was parking provided at the back of the house, which was much more convenient. Everything was very clean and the host was quick to respond to any emails.
Overall, a nice and well kept property - older home with just cosmetic fixes. Would have been nice to know there was parking in the back upon arrival as the house is on a pretty busy Main Street and our 2 vehicles barely fit in the driveway. Yard had some debris, outside garbages were full when we got there but luckily, it was trash day and we took them out to be emptied. Kind of a rough neighborhood but never felt unsafe. Would go back again.

Good house
The only issue we had was that when we arrived, we weren’t able to get in or contact the owner when we checked in even when we did notify them that we would be arriving late at night.
Once we were able to contact the owner to let us in, they were very responsive. We had an issue with the WiFi password and we were able to resolve it quickly.
Overall, it was a good place to stay!

Older home in Rapid City
Overall, the house was pretty much as advertised. Our rating is based on a couple of things. First, we did not understand the house is located on a very busy city street with lots of street noise. The house is an older home and has had some renovations made to it. So, there are the usual issues you might have with an older home. Our trip to Rapid City and the surrounding attractions was one of the best trips we have had.
Neglected property, Housekeeping & Safety issues. No window coverings in the bathroom or front door. Electrical issue with lights & switches. No working smoke detector. Basement bedroom & play area theirs holes in the celling. Mold or mildew in both bathtubs. Back door knob needs replacing (falls off).No railing on back steps. No screen or cover on fireplace. Thistles, weeds & grass over 2 foot tall. I could go on & on but you get the picture. Only thing nice is it's 5 bedrooms. Will not stay their again. Very overpriced!

The house size was good. It was not 100% upon arrival. Yard people had just gotten there. Didn’t bother us much. They seemed bother a bit. Coffee machine did not work. Happened to find another one and used that one. It lacked the basic needs such as dish soap, hand soap in the bathrooms. It didn’t have any shampoo, even though the dispenser was there. Bottles of all this stuff were under the sink, but they were all empty. Issues were pretty minimal that we could deal with. The only thing that we had trouble dealing with was the bathtub was clogged so every time you use the shower, the tub was clogged in the upstairs bathroom. As well as the sink in the upstairs bathroom, toilet and sink were all clogged. We used a plunger. There was a Drano bottle that was underneath the sink, but it was empty. Owner notified. My biggest concern in the whole situation was the gas stove. I did inform the owner and I took videos and I took pictures and sent them. Three of the knobs were broken or missing you had to be really careful using the broken knobs because they wouldn’t shut the gas completely and you could hear gas leaking. So every night we had to make sure that that was closed and not accidentally left open even remotely. That was a dangerous potential for carbon monoxide poisoning. I would not recommend it as a stay until all of that is fixed unfortunately. I also did not like that the owner in my opinion, being important, took too long to respond to some of my messages.
