"The most important thing is that the shower was working well and I didn't experience the water suddenly getting cold. The most annoying thing was that on checkout day, someone from Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9:09 am, even though I had put out the "Privacy Please" sign. I explained to the person that checkout time is 11 am and that they should come back then. ...and so as you can imagine, it was extremely frustrating when again - someone from Housekeeping was knocking on the door (five minutes later) at 9:14. I don't know if it was the same person, but it doesn't really matter because if the "Privacy Please" card has been put out, no one should be knocking on the door until 11 am. Expedia lists Checkout time as 12 noon. At check-in, Best Western tells us that check-out is at 11 am: this means that the room is paid for through 10:59 am. No one from Housekeeping should be rudely knocking on the door, trying to pressure the guest into leaving early. Pushing the guest out early is giving that person an experience where they aren't receiving full value. The earliest that the next guest would be checking into the room would be 3 pm. There should be plenty of time to clean the room. If there isn't, more people need to be hired, or there is some other problem. This is not the first time I've had this problem. I know other guests have had to put up with this as well. It would be great if management as well as Housekeeping fully understood this issue."
