"This is a beautiful hotel which is well situated to see the tomb of Pelayo and the basilica. Charming and full of character, this hotel is worth the money. The restaurant serves dinner with Asturian classics at a reasonable price. The only criticism is that the waiter could not tell us anything about the cheeses we were eating. As Asturias is known for its gastronomy, a hotel of this class should have staff who can talk about the food in either English or Spanish. That said, I would not hesitate to return. "

"The hotel itself is absolutely fabulous, with a mountain view that looks as if it has been plucked straight from a painting. The cleanliness is superb and I am talking about the entire hotel. I couldn't ask for more in terms of maintaining such pristine conditions. The SPA area is absolutely clean and well-maintained. "I had an amazing short stay at the hotel - the staff was so exceptionally nice and accommodating, allowing me to check-in at 11:30am already. The room was on 4th floor, inward looking, quiet and great. The location is fantastic to explore the old town and go to the beach. There are plenty of dinning places around and bars. I would highly recommend this property. "
