"We loved this place!! Like someone else said in another review, sitting on the porch feels like you're sitting right over the water. It was so comfortable, very straightforward to get checked in, and there was even spare coffee for us to enjoy in the morning. Right as we were leaving we saw a bald eagle battling with a duck on the river, maybe fifty yards from the patio. This was a remarkable place to stay!"

McKenzie Bridge River's Edge Retreat, a cozy cabin on over two acres
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"As soon as we walked in and my wife looked out the window to the McKenzie River, she was hooked! We both loved the home just for the location. We had also planned simple meals to prepare while at the home. I found the kitchen well equipped to enable me to do all the cooking I'd planned. All I missed there was a meat thermometer, but that didn't spoil what proved to be a perfect ribeye! The only struggle we had was with the digital lock on the entry door, but our hosts were immediately available...

"This place was clean, quiet, calm, and EXACTLY what i needed! The property managers were phenomenal as well, super helpful and informative, while still maintaining privacy. "This cabin had a very cozy and homey feel with decorative holiday touches since we were there Halloween weekend. Lots of space if you have many people staying; it felt big for just the two of us! Super comfortable bed. Lovely to see birds at the feeders in the morning and the river outside the window. Very quiet neighborhood, very peaceful stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Host communications were helpful, though you will need to refer to their email + the listing + the notes...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin nestled in the trees overlooking Horse Creek. The outdoor kitchen and bath house are a bonus to this beautiful setting. The bath house has 2 private outdoor showers, which overlook the creek. There is also a full bath inside the cabin. We spent most of our time sitting on the fully screened back porch listening to the creek. The kitchen and outdoor kitchen are both well stocked with cookware and utensils. For outside, it would have been nice to have...
