Search Râfov hotels

The best area to stay in Râfov is typically found along the main road, DN1D, which offers convenience and access to local amenities.

This central stretch of Râfov provides easy access to the surrounding countryside and is where you'll find the most established guesthouses and local businesses. While Râfov is a smaller rural commune, staying along DN1D ensures you're well-connected for exploring the Prahova County.

For travellers seeking a tranquil escape, staying in a guesthouse just off DN1D can be ideal. These properties often offer a more secluded experience with gardens or terraces, superb for relaxing after a day of exploring the region's natural beauty or historical sites.

The best time to go to Râfov is during the late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October).

These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Prahova region without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, and adorned with beautiful colours in autumn.

For couples looking for a tranquil escape, these shoulder seasons provide a more relaxed experience with fewer crowds. You can enjoy quiet walks through the fields, visit local vineyards, or simply relax at your accommodation. The mild weather is great for outdoor activities like cycling or gentle hikes in the nearby hills.

Families travelling with children might also find these times more suitable.
