"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. "Charming, comfortable hotel near distilleries and good pubs. We asked the young person at the front desk for assistance calling a taxi and she just gave us some numbers to call ourselves. We weren’t able to reach anyone but she expressed no concern or willingness to assist further. It left a bad first impression of the hotel."

The decor won’t please everyone but the invisible staff refreshed towels and drinks efficiently. Aware that no food service was available the presence of the fridge was helpful to store our own items. Didn’t try the recommended place for breakfast. It was a fair price to reach Findhorn and Forres for the festival. When the noise issue was mysteriously fixed it was a comfortable stay."
