The rooms and common areas are opulent and luxurious. The grounds are wonderfully manicured with exceptional views out to the sea. There is even a haunted castle ruin on site! All the staff are wonderful and friendly, especially Andrea who looked after my family and I on our short stay. Without a doubt, one of the prettiest hotels in Scotland!
A rare luxurious jewel! Absolutely stunning house in a wonderful location! Fabulous warm, friendly and professional team to welcome you and ensure you have everything you need. Amazing food. Highly recommend the whisky tasting too!
To say this is a spectacular property is to not say enough. It must be experienced.
Will be a life long memory of ours, for sure.
Staff was fantastic and the grounds are magical.
The property is lovely this includes the grounds and the cottages. The service was not great. We had to call to inquire about breakfast no one let us know how this worked. We arrived to wait for about 15 minutes with the only two other guests at the hotel to have a sixteen year old boy wait on us. He didn’t know how to make coffee said he doesn’t drink it. Apparently he was left to his own devices at the house, we went into the kitchen twice looking for him to bring additional items. We were never told there was a whole other room with a continental breakfast that was part of our dining experience including juices, fruit and pastries. How do you leave a child to run an exclusive hotel is beyond me and very unprofessional. LV corporate would be ashamed by this level of incompetence and apathy.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable 5-Star Experience – Truly Exceptional in Every Way
Our stay at Glenmorangie House was, without question, one of the finest travel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated, thoughtful, and effortlessly luxurious.
We stayed in the Home Suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous—beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It felt both elegant and warm, with every detail clearly considered.
Each evening we enjoyed dinner at the house, and it was a true five-star culinary experience—beautifully presented multi-course meals paired perfectly with wine and whiskey, all served in an intimate, refined setting that still felt relaxed and welcoming.
One of the highlights of the stay was the cocktail hour before dinner, which gave guests the opportunity to meet one another and share stories in such a lovely atmosphere. It added a special touch that made the entire experience feel personal and memorable.
We also participated in a Scotch tasting at the distillery, which was outstanding, and even enjoyed archery on the property with an instructor, which was such a unique and fun experience—something you simply don’t get at most luxury stays.
Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond at every turn. Their hospitality was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely gracious. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and they ensured we had everything we could possibly need throughout our stay. Go!!
Amazing recently refurbished rooms true feeling of home and friendly staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. A definite return visit to be planned
The service was incredible; very hospitable and went over and above to ensure that we were comfortable and able to enjoy our stay. Rooms have recently been refurbished and designed lavishly but a little less practical than I'd like.
We had an absolutely fabulous overnight stay. David, Ally and chef Pete couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. The food and whisky tasting were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable about the area giving us lots of hints and tips about where to walk and visit. Highly recommend!!
A wonderful experience - can’t fault it in anyway
Hospitality / location / friendliness / cleanliness - top marks - really enjoyed our stay and so wish we had booked another night - the staff were so lovely and went to great lengths to make sure our stay was enjoyable
