The property has a few years on it but the room was in great shape with an extremely comfortable bed. It had one of the largest TV's I have ever had. Breakfast was far better that expected based on previous posted reviews. Staff was extremely friendly. I was very pleased!!

I ended up not staying there because from the time I made the reservation at $199 to time to go it went up $150 more. And the person said I had no reservation...but could make one at the higher price. No thank you...I staryed at the Country Inn which was lovely for a much better price.

This was a good location and close to Radford University. I wish a question would have been asked online if any special conditions were required. My mom cannot walk well and we ended up on the second floor with no elevator. .

As a lone traveler. I felt safe here, but the breakfast is lacking and there was a terrible smell at the facility from the non-working public men's bathroom.

Could hear through walls of other rooms , not much area for our little dog to potty, but really not bad for 1 night stay!

Things were relatively ok, but we found dog food scattered in our room and everything on the dresser was sticky. The people working there were so nice, but I'm not sure we would stay here again. Though this is not the staff's fault, things were also decently noisy where our room was.

My stay at Radford
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We were there on a visit to see Radford University. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the front desk staff was very friendly. We checked in at about 1:45 AM, and the desk worker gave us a friendly welcome.

Room was clean and comfortable. The shower needs improvement. Nice fixtures, however, the positioning of the hand held shower head is such that if not very careful water will run out into floor. That could cause an accident. The refrigerator also hums when temp is adjusted. That is annoying. The staff is very nice. Location of hotel is good.

The room was specious. However, when entering the hotel there is a moldy odor. The included breakfast was poor and uninviting. The receptionist when we arrived was not courteous and uncaring. While the hotel was practically empty, only a handful of guest, we asked to get another chair for the room (there was only one chair). The receptionist said that it's impossible since they are needed in the other (empty) rooms. After some encouragement, she spoke with the manager who authorized to bring another chair so that we could both sit at the same time. Perhaps some training in customer's service would be beneficial to the evening shift receptions. In contrast the following morning receptionist was very courteous and helpful.

Lacking in key areas
It was a Smokey lobby every day. The walls didn’t have the adequate sound transmission rating for a quiet stay and their didn’t have accessible rooms.
