"When booking I requested a ground floor unit as my husband has back & hip issues. This was confirmed via email, but when we arrived we were given a 3 bed (2 were unavailable) 2 story unit. When I questioned at the reception I was told it was all that was available. Apart from the stairs, and that it was near the bins, the unit was good. Downstairs was a very large open area containing lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Also a bathroom including washing machine. The bedrooms were upstairs with inbuilt robes, another bathroom and a huge verandah. The bathrooms could both use a refresh. The trimmings were corroded and our shower head moved up and down depending on the shower pressure. Water also leaked from the shower to the floor The grounds were very tropical and well maintained and contained a pool and BBQ area. The unit was close to the beach and within walking distance to cafes and restaurants with the Divers Tavern next door. We hired a car but it was only really needed for shopping. We did a few tours & they picked up from property. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Cable Beachside Villas and would stay again."

"The resort was nice however we paid extra to have a villa suite with a pool but this did not include housekeeping or breakfast as the other rooms did In effect we paid more but got less"

"Had a wonderful stay at Cable beach club resort. Staff are so welcoming and always available to assist. A big shout out to M and A at the front desk, assisting with an extension to my stay. Also the staff at both pools, food service there was excellent and they were always available, walking around , easy to place an order. Entertainment at the adult pool, one man band was excellent. Certainly haven’t experienced live entertainment at a hotel pool before, was great. The works at the front did not impact my stay in any way, apart from a different entry point to Cable beach, down by the life saving club. Would highly recommend a stay at the resort."
