This is truly a great place to stay at while in Quito....it's a great location that's close to everything and the area around the hotel is awesome....the Hotel itself is super nice and cozy and the staff is very friendly and hospitable and helpful I'd stay here again...

Tis is the third time I've stayed here and I'm happy I did. They did my laundry for me also allowed me to have a late check out for my red eye flight. This is the best place to stay on a budget in Quito. They are the best hotel staff I've ever experienced.

The mother and daughter who run Yellow House are wonderful people! We are fellow animal lovers. They were also helpful with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. If my wife and I return to Quito one day, we'll definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay. The staff is definitely the best part about this place. I'm so glad I stayed here. Probably the best service I've ever received while backpacking. EVERY staff member knew my name before I even arrived. The breakfast is fresh fruit, eggs, and croissant. Probably the freshest fruit I've ever had. They provide every service with passion and honesty. When I come back, Yellow House will be the place I stay. I can't find a single thing wrong with this place.

This property is very good value for money but most of all I enjoyed the friendliness of the people who run it - Gabi and Shanti. It felt very safe staying there and the included breakfasts were very nice.

Yellow House is awesome!

What a delight to stay at Yellow House, I've done it twice. The proprietors are very, very helpful and are very knowledgeable about the area. The atmosphere is just terrific, old colonial house with modern features like sprinklers and smoke alarms and upgraded bathrooms. Very homey thanks to Gabi and her daughter!

The manager Gabrielle and her daughter are very nice and provide excellent personalised service.I was even able to do my laundry. I decided to stay for a month and got a great deal I love it here and now wish I could stay forever.I feel like yellow house is my second home. Very personal service and a great price I definitely would recommend to come here and stay for awhile.There is coffee and toast with jam and butter,included in the morning.This hotel is such a value and the location is perfect just feet away from the foch plaza.

I prefer a bit of quietness

Very loud traffic noise. The entire building shakes when buses go by. Motor cycle noise, people talking/arguing noises. The building is located next to a heavy traffic road.
