Lovely property close to the mangrove Islands. The dining options at the property is very good. The wifi is shared per device which creates a hassle but is a tiny blip in the otherwise beautiful experience

Absolutely loved our stay here. All the staff including the manager go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Rooms are clean and the food very good and very reasonable priced. We came mainly for the spa which again is excellent. However it’s the location on the waters edge with well kept gardens that really adds to the ‘feel good factor’ I was taken out on the kayaks which is something I would highly recommend especially at dusk/sunset where you can really appreciate the beauty of where you are. The half hour boat trip included in the cost of your stay is also highly recommended. Overall highly recommend.

A lovely backwater stay. Beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed the boat ride. The restaurant was the only disappointment. Despite repeated communication that one person did not want hot food and assurances that they would alter the food, it was still too spicy hot to eat.

Relaxing few days

Relaxing few days at the Fragrant Nature. Superb location and wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Take advantage of the sunset kayak trip through Mangrove Safari just across the road. If you like to walk, seek out the Meenad-Polachira trail by the Polichira lake.

Lovely location and great food

The room had everything we needed but the beds are very firm and the doors -and windows have significant gaps when closed allowing noise, insects etc into the room. Reception staff and management were brilliantly helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

This resort was a dream. The property is gorgeous. Incredibly well maintained. The staff are very attentive and helpful. I had spa treatments every day with Shiva and she was absolutely amazing! The hotel manager, Rahul, helped organize two day trips and my ride to the train station. I would highly recommend this resort! 👍

Relaxing stay.

Lovely 2 night stay. Very peaceful and most enjoyable. The staff are very pleasant. Had a great evening by the lake , ate a fish platter and watched the sunset.

Serenity on the backwater of Kerala. however, the room is quite far from the lobby, it is about 500 meter walk. yet, the room is big, its clean and with great view of the backwater.

Beautiful resort with great staff and pool

Amazing resort with great staff, a little in the middle of nowhere but that was a good thing for just relaxing. Great pool although on the first day we couldn't get a lounger (low season and empty resort) as there was some sort of corporate function going on. The highlight was a private fish BBQ diner at the lakeside coffee house, was excellent. We stayed two nights but didn't get much sleep the first night as there was something banging and dragging about in the loft, we were fairly terrified. We told the staff the next day and they switched us to another room which was nice although maybe didnt makeup for the lack of sleep so 4 stars instead of 5 (think it was a Civet).

If you need to unwind and unplug, don’t think twice. Just book. The property is beautiful. I was traveling alone as a single American woman and was completely safe. The spa was heavenly. The boat ride was amazing. The staff were very welcoming. The room was very large and clean with a great view. I hope to come back for a time out again soon.

Serene stay, perfect!

We had a lovely peaceful stay at the Fragrant Nature. The location was beautiful, the resort itself was very well maintained and had stunning views all around. Staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help us (we left an item after check out and they even dropped it off at the next town for us!). Food was delicious, and amenities were also great. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return!
