"I almost was not able to check in to my room that was already paid in full because i did not have the $50 incidental fee on my card, but had cash. The lady at the front desk was a bit rude to me when i asked if i could pay it in cash because that is all i had. Also, after i checked into the room and was taking a shower, the shower head barely had any water coming out. We were changed to another room where the bed was like a concrete floor. I think the beds need to be updated for more comfort."

"Upon arrival, I was greeted with confusion and told I did not have a reservation. The host picked through his computer telling me he had no record of my reservation. I showed him the numerous emails and confirmation from Verbo and they still could not find it. He asked me to show where I had paid for it so I provided the confirmation. Ultimately, he agreed I had a reservation and after approximately half an hour I was directed to the cabin. The host approached me at the cabin and told me they had worked out the first two nights however I would have to leave a day earlier as it was reserved by another person for that night. At that point i didn’t contest further and altered my plans to stay in another location for that night. Later the host approached the cabin again and said that I could actually stay the full three days. At that point I had made other plans and did not want to yet again alter my plans so we left a day earlier. In short, I payed for three nights and only stayed two. Other than that the cabin was very nice and the woman who cleaned was very friendly and nice. Not sure why they didn’t have the ability to verify through verbo that I had a reservation but it made for a very awkward situation."

"My family checked in on a Thursday night. I didn’t receive the code to get into the gate. We had to wait until someone let us in. When we got inside the place was dirty and hot. There was no guide book and we needed a PIN number to adjust the thermostat. I sent messages and called, I didn’t get a response. My family slept on our towels because the blankets were filthy. Friday I was able to get the gate code from the office, because it was so hot and dirty we stayed at a hotel. There was no communication until I sent a message that we checked out. The host apologized and said he didn’t have access to his phone for 11 days and apologized, he said he should of blocked the date and would give us a free weekend to make up for it and I asked for a partial refund. I thought it was outrageous to pay for a cleaning fee. Once again, I didn’t hear from him. I sent him a reminder and just got the runaround. Don’t bother, stay somewhere else. "
