"Check in was very easy and girl was very nice. Room was fine and bed was comfortable. They had an electrical outage throughout hotel in morning so breakfast was hampered. Luckily our microwave worked so was able to take it to room to cook because lobby breakfast had no electricity. Something that was not their fault so cannot downgrade for that"

"Both the facility & our room were clean, comfortable making our stay enjoyable. Staff recommended the restaurant at facility so we had dinner there our last night. I got the grilled salmon with broccoli and a baked potato. My food was cold, potato skin was charred but cold inside, broccoli was almost raw & cold as well. Since waitress never came back to check on our meal, I flagged down another waitress who sent our waitress over. Told her food was cold so she took plate to reheat food. By time she brought it back, my husband had finished his meal. When she returned with my food, it was still cold. I complained & her response was that is the best she could do! No apology or compensation was offered. We may return to Inn of DePauw as it was wonderful but we will never eat at that restaurant again. Service & food were both below restaurant standards!"
