"We stayed a couple of times before - once again, we had a very pleasant break. The house is warm and sunny, even in winter, and the weather was perfect for us and our dog. It’s nice to visit Waihi Beach at this time of the year - there’s still plenty to do, but fewer people make everything so relaxed. "

"Very happy with our self contained unit. Enjoyed the empty space around it but there are 4 possible camp sites beside it and this would be intrusive so you'd have to keep your curtains closed for privacy. Glad that the unit is positioned away from the body of the camping ground so you dont get any noise from the playground or pool. Perfect for non campers like us. Lovely reception staff. "

"Fantastic place, charming, quiet, Terry a great host/owner; beautiful location 2.5 km walk to downtown Tairua but pitch dark at night, glad I had a reflector vest Basics in place for cooking, TV has Netflix, prime and good channels. Water across the street, complimentary kayaks and shovels for hot beach ( but I was late getting there) Great base to take off in day trips Definitely my go to should I ever return."
