It's not so nice as it can be, but probably it's because house in the "cauldron" with hills; More for people who just want to rest in quiet place and feelings calm. You can have a breakfast dependence of what do you like. You will be have a chat with lovely owner of this place, who told you his history and history of this place. Very near with "Durdle Door" arch. If you search for hotel where you would like to be like home - it's a right place. Cheap, calm and clean place."

"A clean quiet hotel in a good location about 15 minutes walk along the promenade from the centre of Swanage. Staff are very helpful. Serves breakfast and dinner and has a spa in the basement and pleasant beer garden right above the beach. The parking is very limited and the only other downside is that the bed is one of the least comfortable (/older?) that I have slept in."

"Rooms are not well soundproofed. Location is excellent. Breakfast was great but finishes too early at 09.30. Staff friendly. Once the entire hotel is refurbished it could be amazing!"
