"The construction of the thousand year old building was amazingly beautiful! The park like grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bed was firm, like most beds in Italy. I have to say though the pillows were the worse pillows I’ve ever had to sleep on. They were fat hard rubber pillows. 😩 "

Within a reasonable walking distance to the town centre and the restaurants/bars/shopping/sights there. The whole hotel team went to great lengths to look after us and no ask was too much. "Not what I was expected. I know we came during off season but in May. The winery seem to be well known in the area but it wasn't open. They don't really have staff in attendance, but you can always reach them by email or phone if you have local cell phone. They use an app to access the gate into the venue unfortunately that our connection wasn't always the greatest and we needed to ask our friend to open the gate for us. We only saw one or two other guests in the hotel so it is really too quiet without staff around. "
