The staff were accomodating despite the language barrier and the property is walking distance from restaurants and mini shops for small items. There are many things needed to improve the condition of the property. The shower needs repairing or replacing. The toilet also kept running and the flush handle is out of place. There no mat at the shower to step on when the floor gets wet. The amenities listed were not available such as free bottled water. Had to buy from my check in time to check out. Everything you need the guest has to go to the lobby area and check with the man at the front desk. He is the only one that speaks English. There was no soap for shower. The mini soap given was to serve both for hand washing and bathing. I spent 5 nights. On the last night i had to request soap. Breakfast is listed as early as 7:30am yet the guests have to wait until 8:30 to get breakfast. The beaches are not walking distance to the property and what might be close are not accessible to the public. Not sure where the bus station was around that area. Things were complex but if you chose you can get the bike taxi or the 3 wheeled buggy to reach the hard or distanced places.

Um hotel para ficar poucos dias. O quarto não cheirava bem. O frigobar e a tv não funcionavam. Café da manhã básico sem frutas. O atendente era solícito em ajudar, mas não guardam bagagem gratuitamente. O ar gelava bem. Tinha uma grande varanda pro quarto sem muita utilidade.

Na chegada tive uma pequena dificuldade para localizar pois não visualizei o nome do hotel. O senhor que nos atendeu é extremamente gentil e educado. A localização é um pouco longe de praia, tinha que solicitar transporte. O quarto nos surpreendeu pois era grande, muito confortável e limpo. A única observação é que paguei $20 a mais que o valor reservado, além da taxa do cartão (que é alta no país - 18%)

O ar condicionado funciona bem no quarto, a recepcao é limpo, chuveiro de baixa qualidade, mas possui água quente. O cafe da manha e razoavel, mas precisa esperar o cozinheiro fazer, perdendo tempo porque demora a ficar pronto, o wi-fi so pega no lobby e na area de estar, nos quartos nao funcionam e todos os roteadores possuem a mesma senha, mas nenhuma funciona, horrivel isso, alem de precisar deixar o celular para o empregado/recepcionista colocar a senha. So oferecem uma única toalha em toda a sua estadia, mesmo que sejam 2 pessoas, não possui box, portanto o banheiro fica todo molhado, localizado perto de várias mercearias a pé, mercado maior a 15 minutos de carro, a pe fica bem longe, varios bares/restaurantes. Nao indicado para pessoas com deficiência locomotora, é necessário subir um lance de escadas para chegar aos quartos e não possuem elevador. So valeu mesmo por ter conseguido o valor da diaria bem barato, tirando isso nao vale a pena

We enjoyed our stay in Jamaica and decided to book with Royalton Bavaro. This place has activities, lazy pool, a surf place, other amenities, live plays, friendly service, beach is beautiful and the food was delicious. The only downside is the majority of the staff do not speak English. Overall we made memories and will return.

Para empezar la dirección del hotel no era exacta , el número que el hotel proporciona nunca funcionó , cuando por fin logre encontrar el hotel me dirijo hacer el check in y la persona de recepción me dice que tengo que pagar un EXCELENETE por que la plataforma expedía no cobra lo que realmente cuesta una noche por lo tanto tendría que pagar 100 dólares por noche , al no tener alguna otra opción .y pagar nos entregan la habitación donde el lugar olía demasiado a humedad , el baño estaba sucio con pelos , no había jabón , el papel higiénico estaba húmedo . Toda la noche se escuchó música . El balcón de la habitación daba a un potrero abandonado. En cuanto al desayuno pedí un café negro cuando me dispongo a tomar me doy cuenta que el pocillo tenía una baba blanca como de leche como si no hubieran lavado el pocillo antes de poner mi bebida . Realmente fue muy frustrante y desagradable la experiencia .

Only issues I found were I needed to ask for another towel for 2nd guest and more toilet paper. They didn't really have someone come to clean or change sheets/trash over 4 nights. Had to ask for more toilet paper. The water flow sometimes was choppy like alternating between strong and weak flow. However it was very clean. The only thing missing from room is a nice big mirror and the room is a bit small in terms of space. Overall nice place to stay for the price. I would return. Just be prepared for music downstairs/outside from around 8pm. restaurant included is nice as well, very good food prices/quality.

It was a farely decent experience. They haven’t changed the signs so its the old Hotel Garden. You can read it from the main street. It was very clean, staff was kind, really enjoyed the Dominican breakfast with mangu and cafe every morning. It's basic, don't expect luxury but it has all you need for a quick stay. It gets a little loud until 2am so my earplugs helped, didn't bother me much. Restaurants and some gifts shops are walking distance and beach is near by. Parking was safe and around the corner.

The hotel is extremely hard to find and it is because the name of the building is not the name of the hotel on expedia's website. The name on the door is the garden hotel. I prepaid for the hotel and the guy charged me an additional $12 when I arrived because he said that Expedia had his rate too low. The $12 that he used was actually my one key cash though. So whatever discount you have, if you use it at this hotel then he will take it back when you arrive or you cannot get into your room. He assured me there would be no additional charges after that though. They only gave us 1 towel. We had a quarter role of tissue when we arrived. We ran out after the next morning. Went downstairs to ask for another roll and the front desk agent told us that we had to go buy a roll at the store ourselves because they didn't have it. The room itself was great for the price and there is air condition and hot water. You will need to take a taxi or an Uber to get to the beach though.
