We had a great time at Grand Serenis. The number of dining options for supper was extensive. We didn’t eat at every restaurant and were there for 8 nights. Be sure to plan ahead and make reservations as soon as you arrive. The property is easy to get around and everything is accessible. The rooms could use some updating, but overall, our stay was great.

The resort is quite expansive and well-suited for families, offering a wide range of amenities to enjoy throughout your stay. The food is good overall, though it would be even better with a greater variety of local dishes. Unfortunately, the Brazilian-style steakhouse does not meet expectations and lacks diversity in its offerings. The rooms are comfortable, although they could benefit from some modernization. On a positive note, the staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly, which greatly enhances the overall experience. My only concern is that the pool closes too early; extending the hours until at least 8:00 PM would make a significant difference.

Excellent resort! Ignore the negative reviews. It is lovely! If you are going looking for brand new, this is not. However - our room was always clean and we had no issues. Staff was very friendly. Easy to book restaurants and tours with the concierge. Good was delicious. Lots of options if you have preferences. Well maintained property. They work to keep seaweed under control and grounds beautiful. Pools are wonderful!

As a facility, the hotel is fine, and the gardens are well-kept; however, the pools are very dirty and have mold—I never saw them being cleaned, which is a shame. The beach isn't good, and the food is terrible, though the buffet was better than the specialty restaurants. The best parts were the laundry service—the towels were clean and smelled great—and the staff was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Kyle, in particular, looked after us the whole time; he was a 10 out of 10—he listened to our needs and addressed many of our complaints. Many thanks to him.

It would have nice to receive a status of the Sargassum in the email we received from Sirenis before our tip started, just to set up correct expectations. We had to book a trip to Saona island to have enjoy a little bit of a nice and kind of clean beach. The animation team at Grand Sirenis punta Cana was very nice and funny, we enjoyed the shows at night and in the pool. They lacked of good sports organization such as beach volleyball or water sports (no catamaran, no kayak, sailing, etc). The restaurant choices was limited as not all were opened, plus the menu was limited. We enjoyed more the regular buffet restaurant. Regardless of those bumps on the road, we had a good time.

The staff was great very helpful and very nice but compared to other places I’ve been to, they have the will but not the availability to meet our needs. Something so simple as hair conditioner was not provided in the rooms, swimming pools were dirty and moldy, water bottles hard to find at the buffet and drinks with barely any alcohol, and light beers. I saw roaches on the lobby, in my room and a mouse in the bushes between lobby and our rooms. I would not say here ever again u
