"Good location. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Great staff. Room was clean. Bedding, curtains could be updated. The tiles around the pool could be redone/cleaned as it makes the area a little neglected which is a shame because the pool is beautiful. I’m being a little more critical as I was coming from spending 3 nights in a beautiful resort on Bora Bora."

"We stayed at this location for 8 days in a superior room and enjoyed almost every single moment of it. We would rate the location 10/10. The view is breathtaking! The room design and layout are very well done although the rooms themselves are tired and some things don’t work anymore i.e the lighting in the pool and over the mirror in the bathroom, the waterfall in the pool and the hot tub was dry. Expect hot water only on sunny days. We are all for green energy but no hot water for dishes or showers diminishes the luxury experience the site and room offer. The staff was fabulous and helpful. They offer laundry service with folding for $20 USD. We were hoping to eat breakfast on location during our stay but at USD$30/person we found it too pricey while a short drive to town will give you a $7-10/person breakfast. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would go again. You can’t put a price on that view! "

"Awesome views high up of the ocean and Moorea. The birds and the thick forest make for peaceful solitude. I can’t remember if the listing pointed out that there is AC only in the bedroom so be prepared for that if you are sensitive to heat and humidity. The house has an open floor plan otherwise, including an entire wall of sliding glass doors that make the patio feel like part of the house. It’s amazing! We pretty much just lived on the patio except for when the afternoon sun(the patio faces west ) was shining in.The kitchen is adequate, a nice king size bed and I really liked the bathroom set-up. Also who can resist a private pool?! I think there was a reviewer on here who said he was tricked by the listing and he only gave it one star but disregard him. Sure the doorway table is wobbly but who cares? Sure the oscillating fan is missing its cover. No big deal. It still works. I think the only downsides were that the wi-fi isn’t very strong. The other drawback is the road up to the house. It’s crazy steep, windy and in some sections very rough so be ready and the parking can be tight. The directions the owners give you are essential and really helped although the gas station is named Pacific not Polynesia. I would 100% stay here again. Felt like a private mini resort away from the noise and crowds of Papeete. "

"We had to stay one night in Tahiti to catch the ferry to Moorea the next day. This hotel was walking distance to everything. The ferry, food, bars, and a grocery store to grab snacks and drinks for our stay in Bora Bora. Was a basic room. And very clean with friendly staff. "

"We stayed after finding out it was reopening following a renovation. Overall the stay was enjoyable, but the room looked quite dated and the service had issues at times with delays in orders at the bar and the restaurant. The main pool is nice, the best bit of this hotel, and clearly this is still one of the better hotels in Tahiti. "

"This place is amazing. Stop scrolling and make a reservation. The house is impeccable, it has everything one needs for a wonderful stay. The view is beautiful over the coral to Moorea and the pool is a special treat. Denis went above and beyond to help us navigate the car rental process and guide us to and from the airport. We’ve stayed in many lovely places but this one is exquisite. Can’t say enough positive comments. "
