"My stay at the Ritz Carlton Nanjing was very nice. The staff was friendly and the amenities were nice. There was some wear and tear in my hotel suite which was kinda surprising to me. I would think they would replace or fix the furniture in the rooms that were worn. My room was nicely decorated for my birthday with a small cake and rose petals. There was also a nicely written card. The food and drinks in the Executive Lounge were deliciously. Especially the lamb chops that were freshly prepared. My main disappointment was not being able to have breakfast in the main dining area due to it being full and I had to go have breakfast in the Executive Lounge where the breakfast items are very limited. "

"Not recommended! The street corner where you should be able to roll your luggage, but the path was blocked, so you had to lift it up. Not sure if the place was recently renovated, because the room had a very strong chemical smell. Stayed for two nights, and there were actually different people sleeping on the lobby couches with their luggage. After 10 p.m., all the lobby lights including the entrance were turned off, which made the place feel really creepy. "

The staff were outstanding—every team member we encountered was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Our room was impeccably clean and marvelously designed with high-quality furnishings, maintained to a pristine standard daily. The buffet breakfast was also top-tier, offering a superb variety of impressive and delicious options, from pastries to local dishes. Overall, our experience was truly luxurious and comfortable, and we would not hesitate to stay here again."
