"The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside...

"This place was amazing.. the pictures Travelocity has doesnt do the place justice. The staff soooo friendly they go abvoe and beyond..not just one or two but all the staff. They have a turtle pond to see turtles and fish as well as frogs. Their cat oreo is so sweet and a fun addition for guests. We were able to see about 4 sloths on the property. The maintenence staff always kept an eye and then showed the guests where they were making the experience really nice. Not one problem w this...

"Beautiful property with the ocean just a few yards away. The grounds were filled with amazing plants and animals--howler monkeys, tucans, dart frogs, agouties--and while the ocean could be a bit rough, the tide pools were sandy bottomed and deep enough to swim in without being hit by waves. Fabulous all around!"

"Place is beautiful and in a wonderful location very close to a mostly private beach. Owners are very friendly and the breakfast was great and not expensive. Only downside is there is no A/C but it wasn't unbearable and for the price not really complaining. The bed was hard but again not unbearable. The dogs will quickly become your friends and the cat is amazing. "

"The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also."

"I liked the room very much, very spacious and good area, for value much better than the dumps I saw in the city center. the owner helpful and nice. The only problem is that the hotel is indeed about twice as far from the city center as indicated, so if you dont have transport its a long walk about 2:9 kms. each way. (can rent bikes but drom $6-8 daily) and during a large portion of the year it is advised not to swim due to strong rip tides. Also be advised the prices are very high for food in...
