Beware—read prior to booking
This property is advertised as a vacation rental that sleeps seven. There is one king bed and two double beds so I could safely say that only three people would be comfortable in this condo. It is also stocked for four people. Not seven as advertised. We received six hangers for three people. The kitchen was essentially bare, no trash bags, no condiments such as salt and pepper, no dish machine soap, no laundry detergent. Dish towels? Nope. Paper towels—negative. The list goes on but the annoying part was that on day one we notified Vacasa of these issues and on day five I had to re-contact them to ask them for status. They are completely lost on this rental. No resolution after I politely reminded them daily that I had heard from no one. Zero help except apologizing which does nothing. Oh—Want to go to the beach or the pool? It would be nice to have a pool towel or a beach towel. Nothing is in this unit. We feel that for the rate we were charged which was over 350 a night that we should’ve received at least these essential items to be comfortable in Mexico. If it was advertised that we were supposed Provide these items we would have never booked at this rate. Let me mention also that next door there is construction that should be going on for quite some time. Literally it’s right next door and the hammer begins in the morning. Not disclosed. Also this community is in a cell service black hole so good luck getting a cab or an Uber. This is also not advertised prior. We did ask for compensation/money back/partial refund for the lack of supplies and again no contact and no resolution. We feel completely ripped off.!!! This condo community is beautiful and the grounds are peaceful. It’s just the negatives so outweighed us enjoying and relaxing for the amount of money that we laid out for this trip. I hope the owners are aware!!! Don’t rent this place until they get their act together.
