Clean room with plenty of space and nice outdoor balcony. Easy walk down the small hill right to the plaza, restaurants, shopping etc. Beach access very close too, 5 minute walk. Enjoyed the rooftop pool and just hanging there in the eves with cool views.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Makawe. It's a great location, walking distance to all amenities and restaurants but still far enough to escape the noise of the main square. My only issue and the reason for my 4 out of 5 review was that cleaning is not included in the price. It's already a high price that you're paying to stay here, cleaning of your room should be included.

We would prefer a small table & chairs,stools are to high & uncomfortable for eating .Hot water at the kitchen sink,other places we stayed had hot water at kitchen & long stays cleaning services should be free once a week..We were there 3 weeks. Our stay was wonderful @ the Casa Makawe in the large king bedroom with large front balcony very clean. Would definitely recommend a stay @ the Casa Makawe..

Nice quiet area but 5 minute walk to square. Front suites are far better. Rooftop pool amazing. Spacious comfortable and enjoyed room. Couple of things bothered us. First 250 pesos for 1 time room clean. No option for clean sheets or towels otherwise. Also thought it might have been nice for cheaper upgrade considering the place was almost empty. Would probably go back though

Absolutely LOVED this place - I’ve been to Sayulita 5 times and this might be my favorite. Perfect location, awesome pool, and loved the room. The one & only thing that was not good —shower had ZERO water pressure…at least it was hot water though I guess 😉
