Loved our stay here! The view is stunning, and the staff are very helpful. Something that would have been helpful is an info packet about how to contact someone if there's an issue, advice about local restaurants, shopping, swimming pool hours, restaurant hours on premises... Just an overall guide to the condo itself, the Sonoran Sun resort, and Rocky Point. We couldn't find anything with any kind of information in the condo at all.

Beautifully appointed condo, comfortable beds and lovely views. Kitchen does not have a garbage disposal, which was annoying. Other than that, we would stay again and highly recommend. Being in the West building was nice. Although you can't watch the sunset from your balcony, there is shade all afternoon, which was wonderful!

Awesome Rocky Point Condo!

The condo was perfect for a long weekend in Rocky Point! We stay at the Sonoran Sun every time we go and this 2BR condo was one of the best we’ve stayed at. It was super clean with new appliances and of course a stunning view of the ocean. The beds were perfect as well! We’ll definitely be back here soon!!

Anniversary weekend in Rocky Point

We rented a two bedroom with a spectacular view. Since we have now been married 45 years it is great to have a walking beach for our leisurely strolls. The room was exceptional in the décor, amenities, cleanliness, and a kitchen that had all of the necessary items for preparing and serving along with a BBQ area. The location is quiet and peaceful, but still close to many restaurants.

Room was great, we loved it. Grounds pool was oddly warm. I’m not sure if that’s normal or not but we were lucky enough to use pool at 2 neighboring resorts. Both other resorts were not cold but were very refreshing unlike ours at Sonora Sun which was more like a hot tub ( not ideal in mid summer heat). Highly recommend the massages.

The property was amazing although not perfect due to the sliding glass doors leading to the balcony

Sliding glass door to the balcony was too difficult to open and close. I called the front desk and they said someone will be up there the following morning to fix it but no one did. Washer was also not functioning well. Didn’t ruin our trip though, we still had fun!

Dry clean, quiet, well cared for property.

This condo was extremely clean! The new decor was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. The kitchen was fully equipped. We appreciated the keurig and the regular coffee maker. Full size fridge and freezer. Make sure to bring your own beach towels as they only leave 3 very old and thin ones. They did not leave us a sponge to wash our dishes nor a rag to clean counters with. They only give you one kitchen hand towel…I like to change mine out everyday. The dishwasher tabs were old and stuck together. The two sliding glass doors to the balcony did not work. We had to pull and maneuver the door to get it open. Not easy for even a grown adult! We got locked on the balcony a few times because the doors weren’t working. The property phone does not work or hold a charge to even be able to call the front desk. Every call died before I was able to speak to anyone. Overall it is a nice condo but they always skimp on necessities. Make sure to bring your own!
