The Esmeralda Beach Resort is the newest upscale resort on the white sandy beaches of Puerto Peñasco, Mexico – better known as Rocky Point to locals. The Esmeralda represents a modern architectural gem with blue glass windows throughout, designed to mirror the striking deep hues of the Sea of Cortez which resides just steps away. Please be aware that the building is still under construction, you can hear light noises during the day. Enjoy the beauty of the Sunsets, Guests can now enjoy the newly added heated pool in the resort's common areas, perfect for year-round relaxation.

Beautiful but under construction

Beautiful 2 BRM condo, lovely decor, functional kitchen, great balcony with west view. Would have liked to know that we would have to deal with constant construction noise. Do not stay here if you want peace and quiet. Checking in was unusual without a lobby, but they did their best given the construction that is going on. Loved the unit, won't be back to Esmeralda until much later in their construction.
