Perfect place for a stay for 2

This resort was very nice. It has a good pool, very roomy bathroom and bedroom as well as a living room and kitchen with ample cooking items. It had everything we needed for the week and was a very nice hotel/resort. The jacuzzi was very warm and the pool was great if you have little kids as there is a shallow end with sand for them to be in. All in all, a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.

Nice unit

Unit was nice, although floors were not clean. We don't wear shoes indoors, but clearly someone had previously and the floors weren't cleaned well. AC is an additional fee that we found out about after we booked. Termite droppings in a couple areas in the unit.

Absolutely wonderful

The room was fantastic. The description was good, but the room was even better than we expected. Very easy to access. The bathroom was huge. There was plenty of storage space throughout. The furniture layout was lovely. All non-perishable kitchen items were supplied. Resort amenities were also great. Thank you!

Although check-out is at 11 AM, room was not ready for us at 4PM. Whaaa??? Finally got linto room at approx 5:30. Not a lot of staff to contact.

A good value, with ads

This was a last-minute substitution after our Airbnb reservation fell through, and we were very pleased to find it on such short notice. It is a resort, in a neighborhood entirely made up of resorts, and we were repeatedly urged to attend a 90-minute timeshare presentation. I suspect that the price of the unit was lower than it might have been because of that. The pools are lovely, with shallow beaches for small children, and there are grills and hammocks nearby. Quiet hours (8pm for the pools, 10 pm otherwise) are generally well observed, and the whole area feels extremely safe. The unit itself was nicely designed and precisely equipped with six settings of tableware, a utile collection of cookware and kitchen appliances, and a few starter consumables. There were a few signs of wear — a bit of fusty wood smell, a metal piece that kept falling off into the bathtub, and a safe lock that wouldn’t turn, rendering the safe unusable — but the kitchen & laundry appliances and the tv were recent models in excellent condition. A pest treatment was scheduled for the day before we left, which the staff kindly offered to reschedule to the following day. All in all, a good value, especially for families.

This place was so much better than I expected. It already looked amazing in pictures but they didn’t do it justice. I wish I could’ve stayed at this property longer

Perfect Princeville

My sister and I booked this last minute and couldn’t have been happier! The location in Princeville was great (short drive to grocery store and restaurants), the property was clean, very comfortable king size bed, and up to date appliances in the kitchen. The property was even more beautiful in person than the photos. Would definitely book this property again!

Everything was wonderful. The one thing that could use improvement is the fittness room. You could use more equipment, a couple more ellipticals, and some ab machines would be nice.

Bali Hai at Princeville, Kauai

Great second floor view of the swimming pool area from the bedroom and balcony. Very well equipped villa with everything you will need for the kitchen and bathroom needs. Well maintained and very clean environment. Concierge service is excellent and very accommodating to all your needs. I was able to conduct my business needs while on vacation with their resources in the beautiful lobby. I wish the villa had air conditioning but the ceiling fans throughout the rooms did suffice. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely comeback again .

We loved our stay here. The condo was clean and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and dishes. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained! Very helpful with all of our needs and fast responses. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the pest spraying notice we received on our door the day of the spraying, saying they wanted to spray from 10-3 on the following day.

Beautiful resort location in Kauai

Our small family stayed here, we had our nearly 4 year old daughter with us. This resort is exactly that...it's a resort, so you get the vast majority of the benefits of being in a resort (including the occasional push to get you to listen to the time-share speech). It's very family friendly; we participated in the fish feeding, hula lessons, and the mai tai happy hour while listening to Hawaiian music. Our daughter loved the clubhouse pool. We enjoyed our condo, it was very spacious and accommodating. The decor is stuck in the 1990s when time-sharing was a bigger deal, but all in all it was very comfortable and met our needs beautifully. Our daughter got a big kick out of the chickens and roosters who greeted us daily on our lanai. The biggest drawback is the location; although Princeville and Hanalei Bay are nice, if you want to see the rest of Kauai it's a bit of a drive. I did get some sort of backache that I believe was from the "taco mattress" we were sleeping on.
