Amazing View

This is a great one bedroom unit with unbeatable views! Check in and check out was easy and the unit was very cute and clean! I especially loved the paved pathway down to Hideaways Beach where the snorkeling was incredible!

If I had millions...

Wow. Stunning hilltop views of hanalei bay and coastline. Spectacular nightly sunsets from lanai. Quiet and serene. A few Nene pairs arrive to spend their evenings. July coastal breeze made air-conditioning irrelevant. Unpretentious. If we ever return, this is our place. Mahalo for sharing.

Beautiful stay in Princeville

We very much enjoyed this unit on the cliffs of Princeville. Excellent location beat Hideaways Beach and minutes from Hanalei Bay. We found the kitchen well appointed and the unit very comfortable. We will return!

Absolutely perfect!

The location and the views are breathtaking! The condo was perfect for my husband and I. Kitchen had everything we needed and wevcooked at the condo most nights while we watched the sunset. Pool is great! And Hideways was wonderful as well! We love Princeville and Pali Ke Kua ❤️ We plan to be back as soon as w can. Thank you!

Amazing location!

The pictures you see on the listing are accurate! This place was amazing! It's a corner first-floor condo looking west and north with a fantastic view and gorgeous sunsets. It was immaculately clean, and the Remax people that run it for the owners were very responsive. It's a short 10-15 minute drive to Hanalei where you can find everything you need. Don't hesitate to book this place! If/when we come back to Kauai, we'll hope to stay here again!

Great location and view, but…..

The property is very nice. While older it is in great shape and very clean. The view is simply awesome. The only negative is the noise from upstairs. You hear every move of furniture, run of plumbing, even basic conversation. We used the two portable fans to create some white noise.

Kauai no ka oe

We love Kauai! Your place was great. The hike down to Hideaways Beach is a little strenuous, especially when rainy and slippery! Also, we loved the wildlife everywhere, except for the two large Centipedes that visited us… One crawled out from under the bed, and the other was lounging in the shower curtain! The Geckos were awesome but I think these Centidpedes were too big for them to eat… LOL

Appreciated the boogie board, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella they had for guests to use. Furniture was quite dated and bed was extremely firm (though some would consider that an assest), but otherwise the unit was nice. Big plus to have a washer/dryer right in the unit.

Gorgeous location, needs a renovation

This beautiful condo has the same furniture it did many years ago. The living room furniture is too big and cluttered for comfort, we had to rearrange everything and stack some pieces in the corner. The mattress is old and there are missing and mismatched appliances in the cupboards. Many drawers and cabinets are stuffed full of old broken games and junk collected over the years, including old eyeglass cases and other personal stuff. The owners need to come in here and clean everything out to justify the cost to stay here. That said the view was gorgeous and this property is fantastic .

Breathtaking views

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and this condo did not disappoint! When we arrived it was 9:00pm so we had no idea how amazing the views would be. Waking up the next morning was like Christmas and watching the sunrise was such an amazing experience and it never got old! Aside from the views, the condo was well appointed with classic but simple decor and all the things you would need for an extended stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed and sheets are super comfortable and there are plenty of coolers and beach equipment. The walk down to the beach was such a treat with amazing views all the way down. Our ONLY complaint is that it would get really warm at night. I woke up hot in the middle of the night almost every night. Windows that opened or an air condition unit in the bedroom would be so great. Even with this one downside, I would not hesitate to stay here again and do plan on coming back! It’s a gem!

I was happy to discover that the bedding and patio furniture have been updated. The WiFi and cable TV worked well. On the downside, I thought much of the decor was outdated and there was a TON of furniture squeezed into the small condo, though everything was in decent shape. The condo had a musty/mildew-y odor (I think this was due to the damp conditions, and not an issue with cleanliness). Was also surprised to learn it's common for geckos to live in Kauai homes (I saw two during my stay). Be sure to check out the beach below the condo--it's beautiful. Also, don't miss Tunnels Beach and, if you're craving a workout and beautiful views, hike to Hanakapiai Beach or the Falls.

20th Anniversary Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We began our search for the perfect location for our anniversary trip a year in advance. We could not have made a better decision! That view is even more impressive than the photos show. Location, location, location! Walking in that first day, we actually laughed out loud! Just stood there, shaking our heads, laughing at our good fortune. Sunrises, sunsets, and rainbows, right outside our door. We swam with sea turtles down at our "private" beach, Hideaways. We prepared breakfasts and dinners in the well equipped kitchen, although the view out the dining room window was quite distracting. Lunches were enjoyed out, on various adventures. Walked the quiet beaches of Moloa'a, Secret, and Larson's. Rented bikes in Kapaa, and discovered Donkey beach. Not a single soul on it. Took the shuttle out to Ke'e beach, twice. And we always came back home to that view. Thank you for a fabulous, memorable trip! We will be back!

wonderful Kauai getaway

This was a perfect location for us, a relatively quiet property with beautiful cliffside views and easy access to the small beach. We spent 10 days on the island and never felt a need to go farther than just a few miles down the road to access great beaches, fun hikes, good food, etc., but it was also great just to sip coffee/drinks while watching the ocean.
