Puu Poa sits directly above the famous Hideaways Beach with amazing views of the ocean and offering front row views of the reef, surfers and whale watching during the season. The sunsets are nothing less that spectacular and if you are lucky to catch the green flash as the ocean sinks into the ocean.

    It's a quiet, private community designed for relaxation, morning coffee with a view you'll remember long after you leave.

    Just next door is 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, one of the most celebrated wellness-focused resorts in Hawaii. As our guest you will have access to all of the hotel's amenities just as registered hotel guest, its gym, pools, restaurants, bars and beachfronts make this a beautiful addition to your stay at Puu Poa. Whether you're enjoying a sunset drinks at Welina Terrace or walking the bluff trail toward the bay, it's an easy and scenic extension of the Puu Poa experience.

Amazing views, spacious living/dining areas, perfect for our family of four. We went more often to the beach at 1Hotel through the public access stairs (long walk down!) versus Hideaway beach given surf was up and the walk to Hideaway is a bit more difficult (muddy, steep, beach is steep and rougher..). Both were so beautiful though! And the pool was nice also. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was great!

We stayed on this side of the island for half our stay, and really liked this place. It was clean, and so easy to walk to Hideaway Beach (one of my new fav places). Parking was also easy. All things were at or above expectations. If we return to the area, I would look to rent this place again.

Wonderful property

Our family stayed at the property for a week. We had an amazing time and the property met and exceeded all of our expectations. The views and sunset from the lanai were amazing. We stayed here on our family vacation and I have to say that it may be the best property that we have ever been to. First of all, the location and view is unbeatable. Secondly, the property has everything you could need. From the Keurig to oils, cooking spices, plenty of towels and a washer & dryer, we felt right at home. My family stayed here for 5 days. This location is outstanding, the view is truly amazing. Nice large kitchen, well stocked, beds are comfortable, nice furniture, TVs are big, good internet. Hideaway beach directly below is magical. There is an AC which makes hot days bearable. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends. Perfect Kauai Condo

This was a perfect base for our stay in Kauai. The location was excellent - a short walk to the 1 Hotel for breakfast and an easy drive to all the Princeville/Hanalei restaurants and activities. Hideaway Beach is a short hike from the property. The condo is spacious and very comfortable for a family of four. The view is incredible. The pool was never crowded and always warm. We would gladly stay there again!

We were 4 adults for 3 nights. Beautifully decorated immaculately clean unit. We didn't opt to cook but the kitchen was well appointed with a nicely stocked pantry. We enjoyed the proximity to 1 for dining and public beach access just left of 1's guard shack. Breakfast buffet there is excellent. We would happily stay at this place again absolutely no complaints.

Fantastic property and responsive host. Loved so many things about the condo. Incredible views, great kitchen amenities and grill, convenient snorkel gear, very spacious for family of 4. So many options in Kauai and this was our perfect home base. Hideaway Beach was a short walk away, make sure your hands are free on the trail as the guided ropes are a must for most. The payoff upon arriving at the beach is unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was our second stay in this unit. It was just as wonderful as the first time, maybe even more, as we had really missed it. This condo is impeccably clean and comfortable, very well maintained, and we feel at home here.
