Tho a house is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The hosts gave us tons of information about the house and also about the area. Additionally they had lots of extras like boogie boards, bikes, ping pong and darts. My kids loved it! We would definitely stay here again.

This house was so beautiful and peaceful! It had all of the amenities we needed. They had a first aid kit supply kit that was definitely needed. The kitchen was very well supplied we were quite surprised (including a rice cooker!). The host was very communicative whenever we needed anything or had questions. The outdoor shower was amazing! We would definitely stay here again in this beautiful neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay at this Princeville home and found it to be a great base for exploring the North Shore.Before we booked, Scott was responsive and helpful, answering questions promptly and making the process straightforward.The home was clean, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. Rather than feeling like a rental stocked with only the basics, it had many everyday items and conveniences that made settling in easy, like a towel closet and extra linens. The kitchen was especially well-equipped, which we appreciated during our stay. There were nice design touches around the property.We had a mix of sunshine and rain while we were in Kauai. On the rainy days, the game room became a favorite spot for our teenager, who spent time playing ping-pong and darts. When the weather cleared, he took advantage of the bikes and rode to Anini Beach and Hideaways Beach, which ended up being one of the highlights of the trip for him.The beach gear was another nice touch. Having chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and boogie boards available meant we didn't have to rent or purchase anything extra for our beach days.The neighborhood was quiet and well-kept, and being only a couple of minutes from Princeville Center made it easy to pick up groceries or grab a meal.Overall, we appreciated how easy and comfortable the stay was. The home had everything we needed, and several things we hadn't expected but were glad to have.

Garden oasis

The house and neighbourhood were excellent, the focus of our stay was in the garden gazebo surrounded by numerous birds. The property has everything we needed, including deck chairs, bicycles, snorkelling gear, etc.

Perfection!

This was our third time staying here. Hard to believe it's possible, but each time the homeowners have made changes that result in even more fun! I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we visit this beautiful old island. It's quite evident they take a lot of pride in their wonderful home.

Wonderful home in quiet Princeville neighborhood

My family of four really enjoyed this house and it's location in a quite Princeville neighborhood. Everyone enjoyed the backyard and the covered seating area. My son and daughter really appreciated the bikes and boogieboards and the well stocked beach equipment that is available to guests. We'd definitely stay again.

April ‘25 Kauai trip

Comfortable and clean home with traditional decor made our stay feel truly Hawaiian. We spent most of our time out in covered deck and backyard space where every morning we were greeted by a variety of birds. Home is well stocked with everything we needed at home and for trips to the beach. We plan to return some time soon.

Excellent experience all around!

Every aspect of this rental was smooth and easy and enjoyable. Location was great, central to everything on the North Shore. Quiet and safe neighborhood. This house supplied everything we needed - including the best bbq grill we ever used on the back patio, and a perfectly private backyard lanai and outdoor shower. Plenty of clean linens and sheets as well as comfortable beds without a trace of any mold smells - very unusually clean.

Absolutely stunning home and yard in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Will most likely book again but during a warmer time of the year. The owners had supplied all the things needed for a great stay for things to do on the beach, in the water and to play in their backyard.

Kalalau trail for the young ones kayaking Waiilua river hike to Secret falls.most wonderful botanical garden/mini golf on a sunny day. Only disappointment was didn't find any good snorkling all week. Fantastic family dinner each night and ping pong matches.

Wonderful experience

The photos in the listing do not do the home justice. It’s a beautiful property, excellent location and convenient to just about anywhere you want to go. There isn’t anything we needed that wasn’t provided for our stay. We had our family (total of 5 adults) and there was plenty of room. Don’t let the “no air conditioning” worry you, you don’t need it with all the fans and the breeze. This was a wonderful experience and we hope to be back!

Look no further - perfect, comfortable, and clean home

Well-stocked and beautifully decorated home with everything you would need for a vacation in Princeville. All appliances, towels, and beach supplies were high quality which is not always the case for rental homes. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Nice location for a home base and is perfect for an evening walk to a nice restaurant and grocery store. We also walked several times down to Wylie beach and from there over to Anini beach for swimming and snorkeling in August. Having all the amenities in this home helped.us have a great vacation.

Great location for North Shore, Comfortable Beds

Good location in Princeville, with easy access to North Shore Activities and close to a grocery store. Nice outdoor space for eating, lots of empty drawers for unpacking and large working washer/dryer. Made use of one of the many coolers provided. We were there during a hot week, with very little rain and no trade winds (according to locals), so house was hot but I think that is unusual.

Great house in great location

The house was clean and beautiful!! Perfect for our family to stretch out in and had amazing property and backyard to enjoy the breeze. The house had great amenities for the beach and bikes to ride. The only downside was the overhead fan in 2nd bedroom wouldn't go above low but we just put extra fans in the room. I would definitely go back and use this place again and would recommend anyone to enjoy it! Thanks!

Quiet, relaxing place

We enjoyed our time there. It was a bit out-of-the-way in an established neighborhood so it was peaceful. Perhaps the Vrbo ad needs updating. The house is not air conditioned; there are lots of fans. There is a refrigeration unit in the main bedroom, along with a sign asking that it not be used if possible because of the cost of electricity. We did like having a quiet spot to come back to each day.

The Second Time Around!

Hm….. could a VRBO house that you fell in love with get better? YES! We were fortunate enough to stay in this lovely home for 5 weeks in January 2023, now followed by a recent month stay. Improvements include a second living area and a beautiful outdoor shower.Most everything else was wonderfully the same. We cooked a lot, enjoyed the pergola, bird watching, and gentle breezes. Scott is a great communicator and has thought of just about everything to insure that guests enjoy their island experience. We are fortunate that he has allowed others to share this treasure.

Private Retreat!

All of the 5 star reviews are true, this house is a gem! We were fortunate enough to stay almost 5 weeks in this rental, so it really was a home away from home. The owners’ intentional approach to “ home sharing “was obvious at every level. Special things that way have not been mentioned; the living room is fabulous, large windows on two sides with a view of some of the beautiful plantings and a fountain/ bird bath. It has two couches, a very comfortable chair and a smart TV. Such a feeling of “island life.”! The kitchen is so well organized, and all the appliances work! That room leads to the beautiful pergola addition. We spent countless hours in that space enjoying meals with the birds. Our weather was good. The house can get warm in the late afternoon, but the wonderful breezes, supplemented by the many fans, made it comfortable. I think we used the primary bedroom’s AC twice. This house is a private retreat! We have rented in Princeville before. I think we have found a “ home”.

Excellent Location

We stayed here for a week in July and couldn’t have been happier with this Princeville location. It’s a lovely house, and the outdoor shower was amazing! Really comfy beds and we loved having the bonus room in the garage. As a previous reviewer noted, the AC is in one bedroom only, and the sign says to only use if absolutely necessary. At the time of the year that we went, we found the house very hot, but did not feel welcome to turn the AC on in the one room. There’s notes all over about how expensive electricity is on the island and we wanted to respect that. The house rules (there’s quite a few) also ask that the windows are not left all the way open when leaving the house, so it would take a while for the house to air out when we got back each day. There’s a rooster that hangs out in the yard with his hens and woke us up every morning cockadoodle doo’ing for 30 min, it was charming but some mornings we just wanted to snooze. Absolutely loved the fully stocked garage for beach equipment, though we did end up renting our own snorkeling equipment after trying out what was at the house. Appreciated the recommendation on Wishing Well, the shave ice was fantastic and we went back multiple times!
