"Shawn met us when we first arrived and gave us tips of where to go and what to see. It was really nice to hear his story of building his boutique hotel and his inspiration for doing so. Our room was very well appointed and clean. The morning breakfast was a nice touch. Very quiet as the hotel is in the country. We stayed only one night but would not hesitate to return."

"Very adult / couples kind of place. Live band was outstanding and changes nightly. Cozy atmosphere in the restaurants and pub/ bar. Breakfast overlooks the attractive gardens. Our suite was very spacious and clean. Scant decor and alot of bare walls which is minimalist and truly boring. An easy fix for management. Make it inviting ! Please scrub the green algae off the porch and those wonderful, comfortable and expensive muskoka chairs. The porches are very welcoming and should be enjoyed by everyone but who’s gonna sit there in its neglected state ?"
