  • Welcome to The Darcie House. This cosy 2 bedroom bungalow is the perfect spot to unwind after busy days exploring beautiful Prince Edward County and all it has to offer. We have thoughtfully curated and lovingly decorated this home. We hope you love it as much as we do (and your pet loves our fully-fenced yard to run and play).

    Located in city centre Picton, we are a short walk to Main St. and amazing restaurants, cafes, and shops.

The house is located in a quiet residential area, not far from the Main Street. There was plenty of quiet streets for a nice morning walk every day. We also visited the nearby Glenwood Cemetery for a long walk. The entire home was very clean and the outdoor space has some cute new bright yellow adirondack chairs for outdoor lounging. The check-in process was seamless and easy. We didn’t use the laundry facilities, but it would be convenient for a longer stay

Cozy Weekend Getaway

My parents along with our dog loved Hannah's place. It's a beautiful home with all the amenities you and your pet will need. Definitely recommend this stay if you are visiting PEC.

Amazing stay

I chose this because it allowed dogs, was fenced in, close to downtown Picton.It did not disappoint. The accommodations were clean, welcoming and really nice. The beds were comfortable. The location was great. A short walk to main street and all that it has to offer. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Great Location

The unit was extremely clean upon arrival and exactly as described. The location was excellent, only a 10 minute walk to the main street in Picton and restaurants. There was plenty of parking with easy driving distances to wineries and Sandbank Provincial Park. I would highly recommend this rental!

2 day getaway

Beautifully designed and appointed property, perfect for a couple of friends, a family or 2 couples. Location was close enough to Main St Picton to walk to dinner or ice cream but tucked away for privacy and quiet. All the amenities you could want with a stylish vibe. Great value! We'll certainly book again.

Wedding daze…

Our daughter planned her wedding in Picton, and my wife and I and youngest daughter were looking for a place to stay. The Darcie house came up and was just what we were looking for, at least online. In person, we were not disappointed. This two bedroom home was fantastic, comfortable, quiet, clean and super functional for short or long stays. We highly recommend the Darcie House. The added bonus- the hosts are super friendly and helpful.

the property is really lovely -- very open, and airy, filled w sun - I don't think the pictures do this justice.The finishes are really nice esp if you like mid century. Wifi was great so I got some work done and the enclosed backyard was perfect for the dog. We loved it. On one side a residential area perfect for walking the dog and the other the main strip of Picton. two thumbs up ;)

Everything was great except that the heating system kept coming back on even after we closed it. It was not cold enough to really need it. None of us could figure out how to keep it off.Really nice to have coffee and tea already there and we loved the kettle and all its settings!It would have been nice to have an ice cube tray for our for our drinks especially since this is not something most people have with them when traveling. We did see that the freezer is equipped with an automatic ice dispenser but it was not working.Also, the overflow hole cover in the bathtub was off for some reason - not a big deal.Overall, it is a nice little cottage with a nice fenced yard in a quiet area yet very close to all sorts of restaurants. We even spotted a white squirrel running along the fence.If we are ever back in the area, we would definately rent there again.Line
