KY mountain oasis

Darling place filled with KY history, a couple of books, photo books, a record player w/local artists, Ale-8 One and chocolate from the area. So clean and comfortable. It’s truly a perfect place to stay.

Get away

House is clean and decor is great. Location to town is easy and a walkable distance. Enjoyed Prestonsburg and surrounding areas. Property manager was very responsive. Great place!

Convient location

We rented the property because my daughter had her tonsils removed. We needed to stay local following the surgery. This property was great. Very close to the hospital and reataurants. Dad was able to run out and get food. Close to a local ice cream shop (The Scoop, highly recommend) and we were able to bring our fur babies. The home is beautiful and as deacribed. Communication with owners was fast and easy. Great people.

Adorable Home!

We loved our stay at The Shotgun House! It was very clean, peaceful and safe. The bed was super comfortable, and we lacked for nothing as the host has the place fully stocked. Super easy check-in and out process. The location is perfect! You’re in town and within minutes of food, shopping and local entertainment. We will definitely stay again soon.
Definitely recommend staying on the 4th of July. Perfect view of the fireworks.
Outside the back door. Beautiful views of the sunset as well.
This roll top secretary desk adds so much character and charm to the house.
Absolutely loved this fireplace. It makes the room feel so cozy!

Short Stay in Prestonsburg

We were in town for my Grannys funeral. She grew up in this area. This house was perfect. It was walking distance to downtown. Plenty of room. Nice sized kitchen. Very clean with the peefect backyard for visiting. Will stay here again when we are back in town.

Rest stop

Stopped in the area to visit family that has passed on and to find our family cemetery. Was unable to find the cemetery but still enjoyed my trip. We also visted Loretta Lynns place.

Everything as listed. Very clean. Lots of beautiful updates in bath and kitchen. Sofa bed could be a little more comfy and dryer is a bit noisy.
