Whilst the property enjoys a quiet rural location, it is very accessible and there are lots to see and do within easy driving distance. Approximately 30 minutes away is the bustling market town of Clitheroe with its hilltop castle and nearby Pendle Hill or the university town of Lancaster, is 17 miles, with its aqueduct and castle. Preston, 10 miles away, has many shops and a mainline train station for London and Glasgow.

For those who enjoy the seaside, the Fylde Coast, with popular resorts including Blackpool with its beach, piers, pleasure beach and famous tower, and Lytham St Annes, is just 30 minutes away.
