"We had a great stay at The cottage. If you’re looking for some peace and tranquility before and after being over stimulated at the casino this is the place to stay. Super convenient, very clean, rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. John and Lenny have a done a great job making you feel very welcome and comfortable in 200 year old home. Which in its self is pretty cool. How often do you get to stay in a home that old. Oh the stories the walls could tell, if only they could talk!! We highly recommend and we will be staying here again. Thank you John and Lenny. Looking forward to trying some wine and beer next time!! "

"Great location. Was close to Foxwoods Casino. Space was great and accommodated 4 adults. The host was very attentive to detail and appreciated that. Loved seeing the horses and deer. Had a fully stocked kitchen with pans and plates for us to make a nice breakfast meal. Would love to stay again in warmer weather and use back porch. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming house in Preston, CT! From the moment we arrived, everything about the property exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The backyard was equally great: spacious, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal outdoors. However, the furniture around the fire pit needs an upgrade. The neighborhood itself was quiet and welcoming, making it easy to unwind while still being close to everything. Preston is such a lovely area, with a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Mystic, CT—a vibrant nearby town filled with great restaurants, shops, and of course, the famous Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. The location also made it easy to explore local vineyards and scenic drives throughout the region.A special thank you to our host, Paula, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Communication was outstanding — Paula was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions quickly and thoroughly. They also provided fantastic recommendations for local activities, including some excellent vineyards. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again.
