Fox Cabin: Unique Cabin with Mountain Views
Located in a small hamlet in the Trièves region, on a working farm, this 20 m² round cabin made of straw, wood, and earth welcomes up to 4 guests. Enjoy a unique stay with an outdoor kitchen and stunning mountain views.
The kitchen, bathroom, and composting toilets are outside, just below the main cabin. The outdoor area features a shaded spot with a barbecue, hammock, and loungers for relaxing. The property is nestled in a peaceful, preserved setting surrounded by mountains—ideal for a refreshing getaway.
La Poulânerie farm practices organic farming and offers natural wine and pork charcuterie from free-range Mangalitza pigs. Your hosts are delighted to welcome you to their home and workplace and are eager to share their passion for traditional farming. The farm is part of a rural hospitality network.
A swimming spot is just 5 minutes from the cabin. Shops, artisan markets, and local producers are nearby. The Terre Vivante Center is 10 minutes away. Children can feed the farm’s chickens and rabbits while you enjoy the natural surroundings. Many hiking trails for all levels start near the farm, and your hosts are happy to advise you.
Pets are not allowed. Smoking is permitted on the property but not inside the cabin.
