From the elevator arrival, a spectacular view from the bridge to reception and on into the beautiful gardens and mesmerising view from our balcony, this is a unique and special place to stay.
A few of the areas are showing signs of their age but everything is very clean and well tended.
Eating in the garden restaurant be will hard to beat. The poolside was never crowded and nearby town offers plenty of evening choices plus ocean swimming not to be missed!

"Everything was top notch. The property is fantastic, our room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. We stayed for dinner one evening and service and food was fantastic. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Our only challenge was navigating parking on a very steep hill - but this is true of many places on Madeira. "

"Spectacular room/views; excellent service [Front Desk (Trainee) and others; dinning staff cleaning staff, etc. etc.].
The "Festive High Tea" was a major hit and memory for us and our Grand daughter and Kids Club and staff were truly exceptional!"
