Pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a place right in the centre of the city. It was easy to find and the staff at reception were great. Breakfast was really good too.

I stayed here for one week as a sole female traveller and felt very safe. The staff were so friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. The hotel is only a short walk to the centre of Prato and the Textile museum, which has a fabulous gift shop. There is also a supermarket across the road with everything you need. I highly recommend this hotel as my experience was fantastic.

Nice staff

As very nice staff. Sorry to say but our room was so hot (27c) and we couldn’t turn down the heat. The hotel knew there was a problem and their solution was - open the windows.

Property is well maintained, and has good size accommodation. Room had faulty A/C, and had to open windows to cool off room. Requests were made to front desk but were not considered serious which was disappointing.

Pleasant stay

It was a pleasant stay. The location is good and is about 15 minutes walk from the train station. There are restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. The breakfast has plenty of fruits and salad and drinks.

The location is closed to Florence and the train ride is only 20-25 minutes away. The walk from the station to the hotel is about 10 minutes along a main road which feels safe. The breakfast was very good with lots of fruits and vegetables. Good cappuccino.

Excellent stay in a clean hotel. I liked the restaurant that was open for breakfast and dinner. The sign at breakfast saying don’t carry anything out as you leave was shocking and frankly very rudely stated. I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels around the world and have never had one care if I took a banana with me.

Stayed here for 1 night and was a great hotel . The lady in reception was very helpful in a commodating me and my long wheel bas sprinter in there free carpark . The room was spotless and roomy and because we was in superior rooms the mini fridge was complimentary which was a nice touch . Sparkling amd still water , 2 cans of coke , 2 bottles of beer , and 2 bittles of frsh fryit juice for in the morning . Cant fault it to be hinest

A good option in Prato

Prato has few hotels and standards are not high. President is of the better choices. Very clean, new bathroom, spacious room with ok colors and furniture, minibar. Good breakfast and coffee but in a boring big room. Nice people and service. Lounge is huge and hold some nice furnitures, but everything is just randomly placed. The bar is not a bar, just a corner of the reception. The hotel lacks a touch of style and atmosphere. Still I would come back. Cause the options are worse.

Ho prenotato due stanze (due matrimoniali, una uso singola). Le ho pagate lo stesso importo. Una era abbastanza ben tenuta (non eccezionale) - L'altra era piú piccola, tenuta abbastanza male ed il bagno piccolo non aveva il bidet! Le due stanze dovevano avre prezzi diversi. Devo dire che la camera piú piccola non era da 4 stelle, ma appena un 3 stelle. L'albergo é abbastanza trascurato nell'aspetto e nelle camere (la reception é OK). Il numero di posti macchina é piccolo, e rischi di non trovare posto. Davanto alla sbarra per l'ingresso al parcheggio c'é un ammasso di rifiuti (probabilmenti pezzi di mobili smontati). La qualitá del Wi-Fi nelle camere non é buona, con segnale debole e connessione lenta. Di positivo c'é la posizione, molto centrale, ma dalle finestre si affaccia solo in altri uffici/appartamenti o sui cassonetti degli altri.

Ekstremt varmt værelse

Aircondition var stadig umulig at slukke - præcis som for ca. 1 år siden - så værelset var 28c varmt. Ved henvendelse til receptionen fik vi at vide, at det er jo varmt i Italien i oktober!!! Bestilte ved ankomsten parkering i p-kælderen til to nætter. Da vi ankom sidste aften, blev vi smidt ud, da alt var optaget!!! Efter rengøring af værelset manglede alle håndklæder samt absolut ingen toiletpapir. Vi leder stadig efter den 4. stjerne som dette hotel skulle være udstyret med, men det er endnu ikke lykkedes os at finde den.

Ottimo soggiorno (come sempre). Questa volta il ristorante era aperto. Il branzino alla mediterranea era delizioso come tutta la cena. Ottima colazione con tanta frutta fresca.
