You feel like you're in someone's house as opposed in a pousada. There's definitely better options for the cost of it. "The location is fabulous. Directly on the main strip in front of the sea. Staff was helpful. After checking in the AC wouldn't turn on. Fixed that.. 2 hrs later it was still hot so a technician came and we went to dinner. Upon return at 1 am, it was cooler but not cold. So i let them know in the morning before heading out. When returned in the evening it was much cooler. The shower was not very clean..it had old stains. It was also very finicky.. usually scalding hot. I was on the 2nd floor......

"Hendjel and the team were fantastic at this beautiful location and they are here to help with anything you need. This place feels like a secret paradise on a desert island. The food was mind blowing with great chefs for breakfast and dinner. we saw a turtle swimming by one morning while having breakfast ! The beach located close to the resort is wonderful and there are some great hikes to the main town and waterfalls. Amazing ! "

"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"A Ilha Grande sofre com quedas constantes de energia. Todos os hotéis em que fiquei havia gerador para suprir banho quente, conectividade e o básico para os hóspedes, mas a pousada Cruzoé não tem gerador. Tive que tomar banho frio em 2 das 3 noites que fiquei na pousada. O café da manhã é bem simples. Simples demais para uma diária de 500 reais! Poucas opções de frios e bolos, ovos mexidos frios e salsicha barata. O pão francês parecia caseiro e estava bom. Já o suco era um horror. Não parecia...
