Nice room, needs air conditioning!
Stayed for 4 nights in August. Room was small but nice, did the job. However it does not have air conditioning which made the stay uncomfortable during the night. The hotel is also a bit out the way, but 15mins on a tram/metro gets you to the centre. Breakfasts were good and overall was a decent stay.

My boyfriend and I spent three night at Askania Hotel and we definitely will recommend the hotel to our friends and family. The price was really good value, the hotel very clean and the spa area was lovely (though you have to pay for it). Praga is a fantastic city and the hotel was a really nice surprise to discover! We were not expecting it to be as nice as it was!

the hotel is ok. clean and the breakfast was yammy
I stayed for 2 nights and it was a nice time. I walked a lot to reach trim. the trim will drop you behid the Musume building. it is too far if you want to reach chales bridge. also, you don't feel very safe while going back to the hotel. you need to walk between building and a very quit and dark area. just be with a partner and becarful.

Absolutely excellent value for money. Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast and close to trams. The only reason for not giving a totall excellent rating on room comfort was that you had to get out of bed to turn off the lights!! I would definitely stay here again.

although you have the feeling to be in the middle of nowhere, this hotel is quite convenient. it's only 300 yards from the tram stop which gets you either to muzeum (4 stops with the 11 if you want to go to vanceslas square or connect with 2 metro lines), or to st charles bridge (number 18). the hotel is new, quiet, very clean and tidy, confortable despite rooms are a little small. breakfast is always included and very very good. very good value for money, i would recommend it.

Cosy, quiet and convenient
Hotel Askania was a perfect introduction to Prague. It was peaceful, cosy, and close to public transport that takes you to all of the main tourist attractions in the heart of Prague. The beds were incredibly comfortable!!! The bathrooms are brand new and the buffet breakfast provides a delicious selection of foods to sustain you for your day exploring one of the most beautiful places in the world. The staff were lovely and helpful, especially Steve on reception.

Small hotel for a good price
I was satisfied with the hotel, perfect breakfast, comfortable location. The only thing I was dissapointed - the single room was too small,less than 7 m/2, you can't even invite somebody to drink tea. The other thing - cleanliness of the room - not every day. I appreciate it as 4 for its quality and price, it's good if you came just to sleep.

Vor unsere Reise wollten wir die Buchung stornieren aber 3 Tage konnten wir niemanden erreichen. Deswegen konnten wir kein anderes Hotel buchen. Wo wir da waren durften wir nicht ins Pool weil es reserviert für jemand anderen war. Wir konnten erst am unseren letzten Tag ins Pool da mussten wir aber extra 20€ bezahlen für 1Std. Personal war Ok bis auf eine Ukrainische Frau. Sie war echt so schrecklich und unfreundlich. Ich würde niemanden empfehlen in diesem Hotel zu übernachten.

This hotel is a big regret
Terrible hotel with small and dark rooms. Old furnitute and household. The staff is rude and moody. Definitely not worth the money you pay. A big disappointment.

Perushyvä hotelli, ja ratikkayhteydet keskustaan kuten myös muihin suuntiin oli hyvät. Hotellissa oli vuokrattavat saunatilat jossa uima-allas. Aamupalassa ei ollut kehumisen varaa, mutta kyllä sillä mahan täyteen sai.

Hyggeligt lille hotel
Dejligt lille hotel lidt uden for centrum af Prag, men tæt på offentlig transport der nemt tager dig ind til centrum. Meget serviceminded personale. Vi boede i suite/lejlighed der fungerer godt for en familie.

Painfull experience. Noise from the street, no blackout curtains, and NO aircon - I did get the aircon but has to pay extra! For a room which costed 200 Euro - hilarious! They said they have sauna - but you have to pay 16 euro to use it... Overall bad experience - rude receptionist - telling me that my room did not had AC - which it indeed did have!

Waren nur 1 Nacht aber von innen ein sehr schönes Hotel. Anschlußstelle Strassenbahn für die Innenstadt kaum 1km entfernt. Personal ist freundlich. Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich,aber es hätte vielleicht noch etwas mehr Auswahl geben können!

Kleines ruhiges Zimmer, alles sauber, alles in einem guten Zustand, nettes, hilfbereites Personal. Das einzige Problem war das verstopfte Waschbecken. Die Frühstücksauswahl war klein, alles schmeckte aber gut.

Appartment mit Terrasse
Wir hatten das Appartment mit Terrasse für ein verlängertes Wochenende gebucht - ein Traum! Es war sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bad war auch groß, mit allem, was notwendig ist, modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Küche war mit Geschirr, Tassen und Gläsern, Mikrowelle, Besteck, 2 Herdplatten, Wasserkocher, Topf und Pfanne sowie verschiedenen Teebeuteln ausgestattet. Das englisch sprechende Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, für jeden etwas dabei - es wurde jederzeit schnell wieder aufgefüllt. Vielen Dank an alle Hotelmitarbeiter, die uns den sehr schönen Hotelaufenthalt ermöglichten.

Clean cheap hotel, with bad wifi
The hotel was nice, breakfast was below average but good enough for the price. Room was clean. Free WiFi is available, 1st day was working fine, 2nd day was so slow that Skype calls were not possible.

Schönes Hotel
Schönes Hotel. Zu Silvester etwas zu teuer. Frühstück ist in Ordnung, könnte aber etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Zimmer sehr sauber. Leider wurde an Silvester das Frühstücksbuffet von 7 auf 10h verschoben. Anbindung in die Stadt ist mit der Tram super. Braucht ca 10-15min und fährt im 10min abstand.

Hôtel situé à un quart d'heure en tram du centre !
L'hôtel est très confortable compte tenu de sa rénovation récente. Le personnel est sympathique et accueillant, en particulier la jeune fille de la réception. Le petit - déjeuner est sympa, surtout pour sa partie "salée". Il vaut mieux éviter d'oublier son maillot de bain car la piscine intérieure est bien agréable après une journée de marche. De même la salle de billard, très bien équipée, est un "vrai plus" supplémentaire. La chambre est plutôt spacieuse et le lit de bonne taille ! Le wifi fonctionne correctement dans les chambres.

The hotel was very good and the staff simply superb. Amazing on all levels. The breakfast was outstanding, the room was a little bit small but clean and comfortable. It is a standard medium hotel, but it fit my needs, and i was very satisfied.

В Праге не в первый раз.Раньше останавливались в центре,но летом цены высокие и поэтому рассмотрели другие районы и ни капельки не пожалели. До центра на трамвае 18 или 11 ехать минут 15.Остановка в 5 минутах ходьбы от отеля. Персонал русскоговорящий,стараются помочь и позитивны. Завтраки хорошие.Все свежее. Номера чистые,кровати удобные,соседей не слышно... Если идти от отеля налево и еще раз налево к трамваю то загляните в Злы часы-отличный выбор пива.А если выходя из отеля повернете вправо и пойдете вверх к трамваю зайдите в Чападло-вкусно кормят ценник на пиво и меню приятно удивит после центра потому как заведение для местных.

Das Hotelzimmer war gepflegt, sauber und akzeptabel von der Größe. Das Bad war in einem modernen Zustand. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Nacht im August war sehr warm, aber ruhig. Das WLAN war sehr gut zu empfangen im Zimmer! Das Frühstück war ok, es ist sicherlich ausbaufähig. Allgemein ist es ein schönes Hotel. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Příjemný hotel
Hotel jsme vybírali především kvůli poloze blízko hospody "Zlý časy". Zůstavali jsme jenom na jednu noc, takže na nějaké hlubší hodnocení to moc není, ale s hotelem jsme byli spokojení - pokoj byl dostateně velký, koupelna s WC čistá a postel pohodlná. Co se personálu týká, taktéž si nemůžeme stěžovat, jednání bylo rychlé a profesionální.

Сам отель очень понравился, номера просторные, чистые. Персонал вежливый. Завтрак вкусный. В отеле есть бассейн и сауна. Расположен достаточно близко к центру-10 минут на трамвае и у Вацлава. Нам очень понравилось. Спасибо за чудесный отдых!!!

Nettes Hotel für einen Städtetrip.
Grundsätzlich kann ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen. Das Zimmer war schön groß und wirklich sauber. Wir hatten die Junior Suite, in dem es ein kleines Vorzimmer gab. Das Bad war komplett neu und sehr geräumig. Zu beanstanden ist, dass beim Frühstücksbuffet nichts nachgefüllt wurde. Wir sind Langschläfer und waren immer zwischen neun und halb zehn beim Frühstück. Obwohl es bis zehn Frühstück gab, hatten wir keinen Saft mehr und das frische Brot war auch schon leer. Des Weiteren ist zu beanstanden, dass die Sauna, der Pool und das Billiard spielen extra kostet. Das ging aus der Hotelbeschreibung nicht hervor. Gerade nach einem langen Tag auf den Beinen, hätten wir uns auf einen Saunagang gefreut, aber 10€ für eine Stunde ist doch recht teuer. Von der Lage her war es perfekt. Zur Tram ist es ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Die beiden Linien 18 und 6 fahren direkt ins Zentrum in ca. 15 Minuten.

Alt i alt var det et udmærket ophold men hotellet lever slet ikke op til pris eller standard ift standard. Vi boede på et andet hotel i Prag sidste nat med ligeså mange stjerner og til samme pris og der var meget meget stor forskel ift hvad man får for pengene. Vi boede på 4. Sal og havde bl.a valgt hotellet pga gratis internet og swimmingpool. Sidstnævnte kostede ca. 4€ for en time og for overhovedet at kunne få nogen chancer for at få internetforbindelse måtte vi sidde på badeværelset som gav et svagt signal. I receptionen fik vi at vide at der var morgenmad kl 7-10. Næste morgen gik vi ned kl9 for at blive mødt med den skuffelse at der næsten ikke var noget mad tilbage, og der blev ikke fyldt ekstra op af personale. Vi ville så tage en yoghurt med op på værelset og blev dernæst skældt ud af personalet. Det irriterede mest ud fra at der var så lidt mad tilbage, at de derfor kunne være lidt overbærende. Receptionisterne var utrolig søde, men i beskrivelsen af hotellet stod der at de kunne hjælpe med billetter og ture, også der blev vi skuffede. Da de fleste var studerende og ikke fra Tjekkiet havde de meget lidt kendskab til Prag og landet generelt. Vi havde forventet en væsentlig højere standard til den pris, og tænker at hotellet mere passer til at være to stjernet.

Kleines nettes Hotel im Bezirk 4.
Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich. Frühstück IST übersichtlich und der Kaffee läßt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Innenstadt mit der in 5 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichenden Straßenbahn Linie 18 bequem zu erreichen. Fazit : preis - Leistung Top

Not a bad choice but don't expect too much
Their single rooms are very small. There was no A/C in the room which was ok in April but may not be so ok in July. Nice complementary breakfast. Complementary wi-fi however not very strong signal. Just one set of toiletries per stay so better save your shampoo. Great location close to a big tram hub - 10 minutes to a city center by tram.
