Bed and Breakfast in Prado del Rey

"This property sits overlooking a lake tucked into a mountain. Small but very nice. Staff are all helpful and accommodating. Only downside is if you have a room on the second floor it’s directly under the dinning area and can be a little noisy during dinner. "

"The house is much more spacious than I expected. The bedrooms are all of an excellent size and the two upstairs have aircon which I didn’t note when booking. The pool area is private and with most of the outdoor area being the same level it felt much safer for our toddler. For those of you perhaps worrying about not being able to get a car right up to the door, this is not a problem at all. Isabel moved all the cases up in her smart car on arrival and free parking was readily available 300m away. Couple of nice bars on the square and the people in the village were really friendly. "

"The grounds of this property are beautiful and well kept. I felt like there could have been more information provided about the history of the buildings and location. The room was clean and decent but there was only one outlet on each side of the bed which had the bedside lamps plugged in so you had to choose between charging devices or a lamp (not the end of the world) the breakfast was lovely and we ate at the restaurant one of our two nights . The food was decent but not anything special. The location of the hotel is gorgeous and so much to do within a 10-15 minute drive. My only true complaint would be that the mattress was old and uncomfortable. If they upgrade that and possibly open a bar/lounge in the area they have appointed for it, as well as upgrade their existing food choices for the restaurant it would be a special place. Definitely not disappointed with my stay"
