"My husband and I enjoyed exploring the coastal beaches, visiting pleasant nearby towns, and hiking near Mt. Washington. All short distances from "The Nest". We enjoyed meeting host Mylissa who was eager to make our visit enjoyable and communication easy. The "nest" was more spacious and open than suggested by the photos and was very up-to-date in all appliances, light fixtures, mattresses, linens, etc. Kitchen was amazingly well equipped. Made our visit a pleasure. "

"It was so nice to get out of the city and away from traffic noise and city lights. All amenities were provided and the spring water was delicious. The old house is full of charm and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen very modern. We didn't get to use the wood stove because the weather was warm. All in all, it was a wonderful stay."

"4 adult siblings and 2 young teenagers fit perfectly in this beautiful suite. Lots of room to lounge, cook, play games, etc. We were lucky enough to have perfect summer weather so spent most of the time on the beach. The hosts checked in often via text to ensure all was well, many thoughtful little touches that you never knew you needed but really appreciated having. Will absolutely stay there again!"

"This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. It is a lovely and efficient home with a very well-equipped kitchen in a gorgeous setting. One wants for nothing there. I think I can safely say that the owners have thought of everything. One does need a car to get around as there is much to do in the area. Powell River has some very good restaurants. "We came as a group of lady golfers and the house was perfect for our needs. It is well stocked with everything you could need and more. Beds super comfy, back deck lovely to sit on and have coffee. Rebecca was quick to respond and even allowed us in a bit early to leave stuff before we went golfing. It’s not just the house but the special touches that Rebecca provided. There was fruit and scones - perfect for a quick breakfast or a snack. We didn’t have to worry about buying coffee or cream...

"We loved staying at this home. Loved the beautiful fenced backyard for our small children and dog, and the house was spacious and comfortable. The master suite is beautiful! It was so nice to be close to the beach so we could walk down anytime we wanted. We were in town for a wedding, and recommended the house to our friends in town, if they know of anyone needing a large place to stay"

"This tiny home had everything we could want, more counter space than our own apartment plus a great soaker tub and the hot tub to enjoy under the stars! Clean, comfortable and cool enough to sleep during a warm week,in August, the space was close enough to the main roads for ease of exploring but far enough away that we had quiet relaxation whether we were hanging out on the patio or inside with the screened windows open. 100% recommend! "
