Perfect proximity to marina, this home is beautiful, comfortable, and extremely clean. Interior deco is stunning and all amenities are on point. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was our second stay at the Owl Box, and it did not disappoint! Such a gem property in the quiet side of Tanglewood. Every detail considers the guest, and the aesthetics are magazine-worthy. Best hospitality and hygge vibe ever.

Peaceful, quiet, beautiful place
My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing and quiet 4 days near lake Texoma at the owl nest. Mr Hunter was a wonderful host. The kitchen has all the equipment and supplies for cooking. Also came with complimentary snacks. There were 2 used q-tips next to the trash can on the floor of the bathroom but other than that the property was extremely clean....so relaxing.

This property is even more amazing than the pictures! The house was extremely clean and thoughtfully organized. The house is stalked with all the extras you may not think about, which we were really impressed with. (bug spray, flash lights, charging cords, spices, Q-tips, extra paper towels, shower supplies, etc.) The wooded area gave us the privacy we were seeking along with its beauty. It was the perfect place for our work retreat. We will absolutely be back soon!!

Fantastic stay!
My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this wonderful property. From the thoughtful interior and exterior design to the wonderful outdoor seating areas to the well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. This home has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the lake. A lot of very heartfelt and artistic effort has gone into the recent house renovations in this space. James was a very responsive and excellent host. We highly recommend.

Best vibes & best sleep ever!
The Owl Box is a secret Pottsboro treasure. Located in the best area/neighborhood and yet so secluded feeling as the house is perfectly nestled into the native forest. Every detail was considered inside from the quality of the coffee to the textiles on the beds. The linens, the toiletries provided, the snacks and chilled water bottles.....every detail is special. If you want to escape to a place that is aesthetically impressive and cozy, then this beloved A-frame will not disappoint you. We will return soon!

I would definitely recommend this property to any of my friends and family… Check-In and communication with James was absolutely one of the easiest I’ve had in awhile… everything is so nice and clean… comfortable beds with EVERYTHING provided from seasoning to dishes to snacks provided…(just to name a few) thanks James for the hospitality!!
