Other things to note
It's been almost 5 years since we acquired the property. At that time we installed a drip irrigation system, to irrigate almost 200 trees that we have. This system allows water to be used efficiently, because for more than 10 years our region has been affected by a shortage of rainfall. Trees have grown remarkably. This year we thought we should eradicate some specimens that partially obstruct the view to the mountains. We almost did...until the Amazon fire happened. We found out how many tons of CO2 we would lose from capturing if we eliminated the 10 trees and... we couldn't believe it!!!! more than 30 tons of CO2. We've decided not to touch any trees. The view of the Silver cordon will be partially affected, but as compensation we offer a green lung, which contributes to lower levels of carbon dioxide and where different species of birds also nest. We walked a few meters and we will have the best view of Cerro Plata 6000 meters high and its imposing neighbors..
