Villa Settemari Scrigno

This charming attic with a private terrace is located on the second floor of a typical family house in the Positano style. The house is located on the main street via Corvo, therefore there are no steps to climb to enter the house, which is rare in Positano. The house is located in the "Chiesa nuova" neighbourhood and enjoys a splendid sea view and of the entire town. The house is located 300 metres from the Internazionale bar in Positano with its bars and minimarkets, and small restaurants, a lively area.



The house is a corner of paradise located "in the upper Positano", with the privilege of being able to choose an alternative holiday, away from strictly beaten paths.

The house has: an internal kitchen equipped and complete with all necessary services such as induction hob, refrigerator, microwave and electric oven, kettle, etc.

The accommodation has a large double bedroom with a 40' flat-screen TV, an open wardrobe with valuable details. Complete bathroom with spacious shower box, toilet, bidet and washbasin.

The large external terrace enjoys a wonderful sea view, equipped with sunbeds, sofas and outdoor armchairs, shower, a perfect location for relaxing evenings and romantic dinners. The apartment has air conditioning, WiFi and an iron.

LATE CHECK-IN: Please note that for arrivals from 8:00 PM, a supplement of €30 will be applied.



For arrivals from 11:00 pm, the supplement is € 50.

Thanks to the mild climate and the beauty of the landscape, Positano has been a holiday destination since the time of the Roman Empire. The town is full of stairs and characteristic alleys that from the top of the town descend down to the beach, where it is a pleasure to spend free time walking and visiting boutiques, art galleries and limoncello factories.

The main beaches are Spiaggia Grande and Fornillo, both accessible on foot, while to be discovered are: La Porta, Arienzo and San Pietro Laurito, all mainly reachable by sea.

An important strength is also the church of Santa Maria Assunta with a magnificent dome made of majolica where inside is the famous Byzantine icon of the Black Madonna.

Absolutely stunning views that were worth the trek up and down the hill! Having that plus the privacy of your own balcony made this place truly spectacular. Communication was great. Having parking included was great. Outdoor shower was perfectly refreshing after making the walk up the stairs. Only complaint we had was that we wish the air conditioning got colder at night. Otherwise beautiful stay!

A perfect vacation experience!

Our stay at this spectacular villa was absolutely perfect in every way. The host was extremely attentive and even helped us arrange a boat tour of the Amalfi coast. The apartment is new, very clean and tastefully decorated, with little extras like coffee, milk, cookies and condiments already in the kitchen. The view from the gorgeous balcony must be one of the best in Positano. We (my husband, teenage daughter and I) must have spent hours each day simply looking out over the town and up into the beautiful surrounding mountains. It is most definitely a long walk down and back up from the town centre - so be prepared! We enjoyed the hike and saw it as our daily exercise and a way to balance out all the pasta and gelato we were eating! I would encourage people to seek out the many wonderful restaurants, stores and hikes that are close to the villa. They are far less crowded and touristy as compared to those found around the beach. We appreciated having a parking space and were grateful for the air conditioning. Also, there is a well appointed little washing machine/drying rack which was most appreciated! We send out a HUGE thank you to Claudio for being such a responsive, friendly and attentive host during our stay. We will definitely be returning to this lovely oasis in Positano!

Pictures are very accurate, this is a clean apartment with full furnishings and beautiful views. Staff was friendly, available easily by text and helped with things like recommendations and even setting up travel arrangements.

This was such a gem of a property. The view is spectacular, the place itself was so clean, so well decorated and spacious. The host was excellent and communication was so easy. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again. It is far atop the hills for the spectacular view so there are many steps to climb down and up to get to the city’s center. But there is a bus stop right outside the door that you could take so transportation is great. Very happy with our stay!

Host were very accommodating for early check-in since we came from Amalfi. Outdoor shower and space was great! The host made many small amenities available upon arrival (dry pasta, can of tomato sauce, coffee, jam etc). The coffee machine made excellent quality coffee! Cleanliness - found many strands of hair on the bed.

This lovely, modern villa has views from every window. It has to be one of the best views in Positano. We loved the extra large balcony, and the privacy. Our hosts went above and beyond with making sure we had an amazing stay too. We absolutely loved our stay. Francesca was fantastic. She made sure we had everything we needed. Went above and beyond when we arrived during heavy rain storm. And was always super responsive. Only suggestions I have are, window coverings on bathroom windows. And a few more clothes hangers. Thank you for hosting us!

Our host was outstanding. It should be mentioned that it is 1068 steps up and down to the ferry.

You should provide more bath towels. Also, we had to buy dish towels so we could dry our dishes after we cooked. Please provide more upscale bath amenities.

Fabulous stay

This villa is located high above Positano city center with stunning views. It was clean, new and well appointed. There was coffee, snacks and water for us on arrival. There is a parking spot which was needed for us as we had a car. There is really nowhere to park otherwise and you really do not want to drive around Positano. The walk down and up is long, with ALOT of steps, but the pathways down easy to find and well marked / we viewed it as our exercise. The villa was close to a restaurant, grocery and in a very nice residential neighborhood. It took us about 20 minutes or so to get to the city center walking. The outdoor sitting area is just stunning. Watching the sun rise, watching the sun set. Just amazing. I would definitely stay here again.
