"The main part of the hotel was beautiful. The rooms with the wood floors in the pictures appear to be the ones that are in the main hotel. The less expensive one I stayed in had carpet and was in an annexed addition to the building that was not very nice looking. The only towel hook in the bathroom was directly over the bidet, good thing it didn't fall. My window was directly above the recycling dumpster where they toss glass bottles for what seemed like an hour. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping comes very early in the morning and gives you very little time between knocking and walking in the room so make sure and put the Do Not Disturb on your door the night before. Doing it over again I would have stayed in the main building in the much more charming rooms."

"Superb Spa facilities very brand new and large, but the man who ran it was very rude and refused us access as he wanted to close it early so he could go home. Even though it was all still open - 15 mins before close (we only wanted one go in the sauna). It was running but empty with no one in it. As we have sadly found in various swiss places, there is a lack of customer service - mostly unfriendly or unhelpful, especially as we had a small baby - Italy is MUCH better. Excellent breakfast with prosecco. Melissa at the desk was very lovely and helpful, very charming. The hotel has been clearly refurbed - needs outside decorating now."
