Was a fantastic stay, the hotel itself was immaculate with fantastic friendly staff. Direct access to the beach was brilliant and the hotel pool was just what we needed. We didn’t book half board but did try the restaurant and we were very happily surprised, the foot was superb! We would highly recommend and are already working on next year!

For a 4-star hotel could be better. It was too expensive for the quality of food and no AC in the rooms... It was on the beach so if it were cheaper, I would have stayed longer.

Beach is supernice!
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early which was very much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The only downside was the limited breakfast options, but it was still satisfactory. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent service and comfortable accommodations.

Horrible experience
We have book a 4 stars hotel to get more confort, We booked a bedroom with balcony, on the arrival we get a bedroom with no balcony, then we need it to wait untill 6.30pm to get our balcony bedroom, As you see on the pictures the hotel has no condition to be 4 stars should be 3 stars hotel. The weather in porto santo was a bit rainy, so we spend some more time on the hotel. They didnt had any bars or restaurants open to the guests inside the hotel, its durty. And you will boring if you go to these hotel. Evan the gym was durty the machines was sweaty from previous people only thing they have on the gym is treadmills and bikes, we felt so boring on the hotel. Then they have a restaurante open to the public and guests all together on the 1st day we went there for our lunch my salad was old and black and we wait 1hr.45mints, next day we just take the risk of just having a coffee we ask for the flat whites and was horrible and we wait 1hr for it. And paid 3€ for 2 coffees, if you got up the road you pay half of the price for the 2. Ill never go to these hotel ever again

Can’t wait to stay again!
Great beach-front hotel and just 5 min walk from the town centre. Excellent breakfast by the beach and the on-site restaurant is open until 11pm for drinks, snacks or full meals.

Romantic Escape to a Paradise Island
We only spent one night at the hotel as we were in an apartment in Funchal for a week and had a jaunt to Porto Santo on the ferry. It was a treat from start to finish. Porto Santo Island is very beautiful and peaceful after the hustle and bustle of Madeira's capital and the hotel was ideally situated on the outskirts of the main(!) town, Vila Baleira and right on the long, sandy beach. The room was spacious and the bed was huge! Everything was clean and well presented and if you wanted sun loungers and a pool they were provided and with a glorious view. The fact that the hotel is built around an old tower gives it character too. We had a lunch in the beachside restaurant - salad and burger - and the food was good. We had dinner elsewhere but the breakfast was excellent with a huge and varied buffet and generous opening hours , from early till late. All in all, a delightful experience and at a surprisingly reasonable price.

Super hotel. Right on the beach. Lovely staff.
Arrived late off the ferry. The young lady iat reception was lovely. Hotel directly on the beach with a great beach restaurant and beach bar/restaurant . Brilliant location only a couple of minutes into the centre We walked a long way up the beach on the first day and passed two snack and beach bars. The sea and Beach are lovely and clean. Last day we asked if the room had someone in after us , I think it did but they said we could keep it until 3.30. All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. I wanted to stay longer but hoping to return late September

Fantastic beach side location .
Enjoyed a 2 night /3 day break in late May 14 . Hot & sunny weather so we enjoyed strolling the fabulous beach & were delighted with the old fashioned charm of the island; simply another world . As always the Hotel Torre Praia was top class providing excellent service & value . We cannot think of a better place to enjoy a short sunny break.

Close to the tourist sites, easy to walk to.
Right on the ocean. Easy walk to the center of the town. Very helpful staff. Breakfast area is so you can see the ocean while you are having breakfast which is very nice.

A delightful surprise
The hotel was about 500meters from the center of the town but felt beautifully isolated and located directly on the beach. The included breakfast was fantastic, the staff, helpful.

Torre praia
We visited Porto Santo and Torre Praia Hotel again and were very satisfied. Everything was perfect. Our room was spacious and very clean and our balcony had a straight ocean view. We will definitely come back.

Localização excelente, oferta em termos de restaurantes do hotel e serviço na praia ótimo. Peca pela diversidade de comida ao pequeno almoço que é bastante limitada e sempre igual. Pessoal muito simpático e sempre disponível.

Tolle Lage. Zimmer mit Balkon sind sehr schön. Frühstück sehr basic, aber das Personal geht gerne auf einfache Sonderwünsche ein.

Situation exceptionnelle, petit déjeûner plutôt bon en terrasse sur la plage, idem pour les 3 restaurants. Acceuil un peu froid, manque de communication sur les prestations. Personnel insuffisamment formé et informé. Chambres vieillissantes, pas de prestations (eau, café, verre d’acceuil, savons, chaussons, mouchoirs) et aucune documentation en français. Coffre payant en sus… Wifi OK. Le restaurant Corsario est super, dommage que nous ne l’ayons découvert par nous-même qu’à la fin du séjour… Pas vraiment un quatre étoiles.

Struttura con accesso diretto sulla bella,ampia e lunga spaiggia di Porto Santo. Hotel pulitissimo, arredato semplicemente ma con gusto; curata anche la parte esterna; presente piscina oltre a lettini ed ombrellon. Molto buona la colazione con discreta scelta di cibo "dolce" e "salato". Ottima, tra l'altro, la qualità e varietà di frutta, gustosissima con provenienza dalla vicina isola di Madeira. Hotel frequentato prevalentemente da turisti nord europei (in particolare, tedeschi) e portoghesi. Clientela molto tranquilla. L' hotel ha l'ulteriore pregio di essere vicino al gradevole centro abitato di Porto Santo, raggiungibile con una brevissima (2 minuti) passeggiata. Da consigliare a chi desidera, pertanto, essere libero e non "vincolato" a rimanere per gran parte della vacanza tra le mura dello stesso resort.

Gutes Hotel, perfekte Lage am Meer. Zweckmässige Einrichtung und sehr saubere Zimmer. Frühstück Buffet ist angenehm, nicht überladen. Teils Personal lässt an Freundlichkeit zu wünschen übrig.

Bien placé mais vieillissant
Nous avons bénéficié de l'une des rares chambres sans balcon avec vue sur... le parking. Quelle déception ! Impossible de changer de chambre, l'hôtel était complet et impossible de dormir paisiblement. Une partie des chambres donne sur le hall d'accueil: on entendait les conversations du hall et du parking et les femmes de ménage passer l'aspirateur dans le hall à 8h du matin. De plus, nous espérions profiter du sauna et des bains à remous. Mais ces derniers ne fonctionnaient pas. Re-déception ! Nous sommes allés nous détendre et profiter du spa de l'hôtel vila baleira, que nous recommandons chaudement. Les points positifs : la chambre était spacieuse et propre, le petit-déjeuner varié, le centre-ville est juste à côté et les jolis espaces extérieurs.

Wir wurden von der Rezeption knapp und unpersönlich empfangen. Es gab keine Informationen zur Hotelanlage oder Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Die schriftliche Information auf dem Zimmer war voller Fehler und machte auch nur spärliche Angaben zur Anlage. Die Zimmerpreise in der Hochsaison empfanden wir als sehr hoch für die Zimmergrösse und und die gebotene Aussicht auf das Gitter eines Sportplatzes. Das Wlan war kostenlos, aber nur im Lobbybereich. Die Anlage profitiert von ihrer Lage an einem der schönsten Strände Portugals.

Relax Urlaub
4 wunderbare Tage im Torre Praia. Ruhiges Hotel direkt am langen Strand und kleinem Pool. Relax-Urlaub ohne Trubel. Es braucht etwas Wetter-Glück im Oktober! 2 Tage Mittel, 1 Tag genial, 1 Tag grosser Sturm!

Direkt am Strand mit schöner Seeblick-Terasse.
Unsere erste Übernachtung nach Spätankunft auf dem Flughafen. Schöne Zimmer, direkt am Strand. Schöne Liegetrasse direkt oberhalb vom Strand. Integrierte Strandbar mit sehr günstigem Bierpreis und guten Cocktails. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Sekt und Möglichkeit zur Einnahme auf einer kleinen Außentrasse direkt am Strand. Außerhalb der Saison sehr ruhig und Totalentspannt, so wie das ganze Porto Santo. Wenn man in dieser Zeit Disko, Animation und Kevin-Vollversorgung erwartet, ist man falsch.
