Such an amazing stay here! Staff were courteous and so helpful. Rooms were nice and so clean. Nice touch to have breakfast served in our room. We were within walking distance of everything. Very old building so no elevators which was fine for us but could be a challenge for others. Definitely recommend them!

CARLA at the receptionist Checked us in, and was courteous and knowledgeable. No elevators! 80 steps up to our room, we made our reservation months in advance, and it made no differance, were given a poor room, not happy with the room, very small .

The hotel was perfect. Its location is in the heart of shopping and walking distance of everything! Unfortunately, there isn’t a lift to the rooms so be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs. We found the receptionist/host, Carla, to be very proud of Porto, where she was born and raised, and she was more than happy to share all the must-see sights in the city as well as warn us of the restaurants to avoid since they charge tourists more than the locals. The breakfast and afternoon treats were wonderful! We would, and will, highly recommend staying here!

Hotel is conveniently located in the center of Porto and close to the best attractions. Very comfortable bed and showers. Friendly staff in Vinny and Betrice who were super helpful in assisting and accommodating us due to a canceled flight. Thank you FLH!

Wonderful property in a great location! We were able to walk to everything. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious, with a large variety of items to choose. There was an abundant supply of coffee and tea on each floor and even cake and snacks in the afternoons. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the building felt safe and well maintained.

Property is in an excellent location. It is within walking distance to all downtown tourist locations. You can walk the Majestic Cafe is less than half block. The train station is a block or two away, most nice restaurants are within a five block ratio the sightseeing buses are around the corner etc. The staff is wonderful I cannot say enough about the staff. I learned real quick why the say in Porto everything is up and down very Steep Streets. I would recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes must be non slip shoes. You also have to be in good shape because this is a walking town with very steep streets.

Excellent location, easy walking distance to many places of interest. Based on the main shopping street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent, nice being able to have it served in your room. Coffee and biscuits/cake being available in the afternoons was also a nice touch. Hotel was clean and felt safe. Room was a good size, comfortable bed and good air con. Would stay here again and would recommend.

The front desk were very sweet in accommodating us even when we came in early, they held our bags for us while we walked around. Breakfast was nice! Bathrooms and bedroom were clean and smelled great. The balcony was a nice touch to our stay. Even when checking out they accommodated us due to our flight being late, and they held our bags for us from 11am to 6:30pm. Truly life savers!!! We’d recommend, the only downside was no elevators but it was a great cardio for us. 10/10 recommend we’d come back!

This hotel is in the best location if you really want to enjoy Porto as a first timer. It is in the middle of almost everything. I love the breakfast and the fact that you get to choose what you want and you have complimentary snacks on every floor. I definitely recommend this hotel if this your first time. My girlfriends and I really loved the place. Also there is no elevator to get ur luggage, so you will have to use the stairs but it wasn’t that bad as the person in the reception is always willing help or assist.

Beautiful hotel. Everything felt very luxurious. Beds were very comfortable. Good use of space in a city with small spaces. They don't have a dining room so breakfast is served via room service on a little trolley. It felt elegant and pampered to have breakfast delivered to the door. It's in a busy area of the city with easy access to shopping, restaurants and the metro; however, our room was very quiet. Don't know if this is the case with all the rooms. The only caveat is that the hotel is up a steep flight of stairs, and our room was another flight of stairs. Staff was helpful and carried our bags up and we were otherwise fine with the stairs. Just something to keep in mind if traveling with someone who finds stairs difficult or if you have oversize bags.

Our room was on the top floor. I think there were maybe 8 or so flights of stairs to get to our room. Breakfast was just okay. The last morning we ended up getting someone else’s but we didn’t really care. It’s basically all the same anyway. Our lat night was torture; Portugal is very hot in July and our AC failed. They offered to let us stay at another one of their properties but that was not practical as it was too late in the evening already. All they had was a small fan which was inadequate. We sweltered all night and the room never cooled below 28 C. I cannot recommend this hotel unfortunately. It’s just too old of a building. Also, be prepared, maybe it’s a European thing but the bathrooms often have no doors so if you’re a little bashful about using the toilet and need privacy, it can be awkward.

Louisa and team were amazing, always so friendly, professional and accommodating. My room had everything i needed for a good nights sleep. Coffee facilities and hot water available on 2 floors. The 2nd floor has a freshly baked cake every day, i so love that chocolate cake. The lady who makes our breakfast and bakes those yummy cakes really should produce a recipe leaflet. I really liked the location of the hotel, it was easy to walk to all the main sites, the metro or the bus.
