Misleading Listing in Galerias, Porto – Separate Units, Unusable Room & Severe NoiseOverall Rating: Pros:Location is convenient for exploring central Porto.Cons:Misrepresented layout: Sold as a single group residence, but actually 4 separate apartments with no shared common living room.Persistent foul smell rendered a room completely unusable for two nights despite technician coming and confirming the smell.Severe noise disturbances and lack of adequate host resolution, requiring escalation to Vrbo support.I am sharing this review to help future travelers make an informed decision before booking this property in Porto.Our stay was deeply disappointing due to several major issues:Misleading Listing Setup: The property was advertised as a large group residence, but it is actually four completely separate apartments with no common living room or shared gathering space for a group.Foul Smell & Unusable Space: There was a severe, foul odor in one of the rooms that was so bad we were completely unable to use the space for two nights of our stay.Excessive Noise & Poor Support: We experienced ongoing noise disturbances throughout our stay. When we raised these issues with the host, they failed to properly resolve them, forcing us to open an official dispute directly with Vrbo customer support.Given the inaccurate property description, unlivable room conditions, and lack of support, I strongly advise fellow travelers and groups to look elsewhere in Porto.
