Porto experience
The house had lots of spaces, which was nice for our group of 4. Everything was clean, well stocked and convenient. The rooms look fresher in the photos- we are suggesting an update in bedding would be a nice improvement as they were worn.

This property is right where you want to be in Porto. It is lovely home; there are wood floors everywhere and the bedrooms all have locks to each door as the house can be rented out by the room. As we were a large group, we were allowed to have the entire home to ourselves. There is a lovely tapas/ drinks establishment right next door which is excellent. Shopping very close by. We did have an issue with the heat in the basement but Luis did his best to fix it quickly. If location is your goal, this is the place for you in Porto.

The location is top notch and the house is huge and spacious with plenty of privacy in each room/bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again next time we are in Porto!

Great location for exploring Porto and surrounds. Very spacious house with plenty of restaurants nearby. Also a small supermarket for the nights you want to eat in. The owner was very helpful and nice. We had a car and could park on the street if lucky or in a nearby parking garage.

Great house and location!
This house and our host are fantastic. Very updated yet with classic charm. I stayed here with my 5 siblings and our spouses and everyone had their own room and bathroom. Kitchen is well appointed. Luis quickly responded to any questions or needs we had. There is a wine bar a few doors up the street in an old Chapel that is lovely too. We loved our waiter, Pedro!

This house was perfect!
We stayed for ten days as a group of family and friends and things were perfect! Great location and layout, and the on suite bathrooms were ideal. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and our stay was outstanding. Would definitely return.

Love the location of this place. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Rooms were well kept, a bit on the older side but very clean. Each room has a washroom except for one which was an excellent feature for our group. Kitchen was functional and we were able to cook a few meals. Luis is very thorough and helpful abs responds to communications very quickly! I would definitely book this place again if I come back to Porto!

Multi generation Family Trip
This location has bathrooms in each room, which was great for us. Each room had its own A/C unit. Each bedroom has its own lock on the door. Kitchen and common area we on the lower level, which we did not use. Located in walking distance to many tourist attractions. We would stay again. NOTE: this location rents out rooms individually, so you may stay with strangers.

I did want to remind you that renting rooms within a property is not permitted on Vrbo, therefore, all properties advertised are only available to rent as an entire unit, meaning that if a property has 2 rooms and only one is used the other is not available nor allowed to be rented on Vrbo.

The property and location was perfect. Be aware that the property owner asked for 2€ per person per day at check in. We had 8 people for 6 nights. So I had to give Luis 96€ at checkin. It did not say that anywhere on the listing and the next property we stayed at did not ask for this. He said it was a “tourist tax”

Great property for our group of 9. Excellent location for walking to restaurants, grocery stores, bars and all the Porto sites. Home is spacious, exceptionally clean and the air conditioning works super! Luis met us at the house to explain everything and even phoned for restaurant reservations for us—definitely recommend!!

Reunion in Porto
This property is an excellent place for a big group.. We were six women friends of forty three years! This old house has six comfortable rooms all with modern bathrooms and is extremely clean. The basement kitchen/ dining/ living room is well stocked and provides a great place to congregate and catch up. The owner is very helpful and responsive. Location great for easy walk into the old city.

Family Adventure
Lovely home just perfect for our family of 8 adults and an infant. Quiet between rooms. Great living and kitchen gathering area all very spacious. 6 Comfy bedrooms each with private bath. Walking distance to almost everything you’d want to see in Porto. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Centrally Located Dream
Our stay here was amazing. Luis’ property is perfectly located to get around Porto. The rooms were great and the overall size was perfect for our large group. Having separate bathrooms was a dream! The rail strike messed up our arrival, but Luis was very accommodating in adjusting our meet up time to check us in. He remained amiable, prompt and communicative throughout. The only downside is that some of the lower floors can get a little musty, but as to be expected in a historic building. Letting in some fresh air really helped to counteract after a few hours. Regardless, would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Location but Very Poor Space
Pros: Location, everything is walkable. Restaurants and tourist sites all very close Amenities (plenty of amenities, dishes, fridge, washing machine, hang dry area) Everyone had their own bathroom Very friendly host Flexible check-in and check-out Cons: No free parking as mentioned in listing, I ended up returning my rental car early which cost an additional €60 in cabs to/from airport. I also walked around to see if there was a 24hr parking garage and couldn't find one. There were some open 0730-2200 but I'd have to move the car each morning and evening Water leaked from the basement ceiling when someone was showering a floor above - which made sense why there was black mold in a corner of the basement The basement cooling unit dripped water down the wall by the couch Two in-room cooling units wafted a heavy smell of pee while on A tenant lived above so we had to lock each rooms door when leaving. This should be mentioned in the listing

Sorry about the water. The problems are already solved. In the listing there is no free parking. In the parking lot near by you dont need to move the car. By the way air conditioning units dont smell.

Great place and nice owner!
We enjoyed our stay - it's a great place and nice owner who met us when we arrived. We like the location. The home has many beds and bathrooms so it makes it really nice for large groups. There is a downstairs kitchen and living room that make it great for meeting for breakfast before starting the day. Thank you Luis!

Great location in Porto
This house was the perfect location and just what our two families with teens and college kids needed for our stay in Porto. Fantastic, popular wine bar next door (make reservations) and a wide variety of restaurants, bars and bakeries within a short walking distance. Air conditioners in each bedroom were greatly appreciated as were private baths for everyone.

Fantastic location
This house is perfectly located to explore Porto. A pedestrian shopping street is just up the hill and an amazing wine bar next door. Luis is an excellent host and very accommodating. The rooms and house are better than the photos. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. Close enough to join the party (Sao Joao) but far enough away to be able to sleep. Communication with the manager was very easy and helpful. En suite bathrooms were great!

Visit for group of 9 friends to Porto
Fantastic house got a large group. All rooms about the same size so no fighting for rooms. The property was in great condition. Maybe a few more mugs and wineglasses as set up more for group of 6 than 12. The communication with Luis was absolutely excellent and he was very flexible. Very easy access to the old town but prepare to climb hills to get home. House 17 was excellent for us.

Fantastic property in a great location for exploring
A lovely property with good sized rooms and all with an en-suite or separate bathrooms, just perfect for a group of 9 friends visiting the city. The house was clean and tidy and in a great location for getting around the sights of Porto. The bonus of having individual room keys meant we could all enter the house whenever we needed and didn’t have to worry about passing around a key. Luis was a great host and allowed us flexibility on our check out day as we had an early evening flight and wasn’t sure about luggage. It was a great find and would highly recommend a stay. The only small improvement would be a long mirror in each room.

Excellent location of older home
The location is unbeatable. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was extremely helpful traveling with extended family. Having a kitchen was critical for us due to one of us having severe food allergies and the restrictions of the pandemic. We were walking distance to everything we wanted to see in the beautiful city of Porto. Luis was very responsive and communicative. We don't give it 5 stars because we were not aware there was someone living in an apartment that is part of the house during our stay. They didn't use the same kitchen or bathrooms but they did use the same staircase so it wasn't a fully private stay, and during a pandemic, i wasn't thrilled to have a person we didn't know come in and out the same door and inner stairs. We had issues with the heaters in two of the rooms and Luis 2as very responsive and attempted to fix them, but because we were there over Christmas break it was not possible to get someone to fix it during our stay. The lack of heat in the two rooms caused the humidity from the frequent rain to be a bit of an issue. However, we believe this issue would have been more easily fixed had it not been Christmas so I wouldn't hold this against the property. It really is an amazing location with lots of great amenities. It was a great place for our family vacation, particularly during the pandemic.

Excellent, central, large apartment with space for everyone!
I stayed here with seven other friends, and we were all so comfortable--with our own bathrooms in six rooms! I would highly recommend to any large group wanting to stay centrally in Porto. Great location, great property.

Great Porto location
This 6 bedroom 6 bath house totally met the needs of our 10 person group. We were able to congregate in the living/dining area with no problem. We even all fit around dining table. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. Luis was very accommodating and helpful with nearby restaurants. The location was terrific. Very central, easy walking to city center and sights. There is a tenant on top floor who shares stairway and laundry but he was very friendly. The capella bar next door is a find. An old private chapel redone as a cozy bar. They even provided Fado singers one night. It was magical! This house was an excellent value.

Long weekend in Porto
A great property in a very central location, with enough double bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us very easily. There’s a great bar just up the road and a really good, old-fashioned cafe where you can have breakfast just a bit further on. The property manager, Luis, was very friendly and approachable, and he was very understanding after our delayed flight meant that we had a slightly later-than-planned arrival. Location location location
I travelled with family (10 of us total) and found this property was perfect. We each had our own room with our own bathroom so getting ready in a timely manner was a breeze. The location was perfect, walking distance to must see landmarks, restaurants, shops, bus tour stop, you name it and it was within reach. The property was secure, the neighborhood was quiet and the accomodations were comfortable. Everyone was pleased and we had an amazing time in the beautiful city of Porto!! I would highly recommend this location especially for a large group that wants to stay together and yet have the privacy of their own space.

the best place we stay in Portugal
Very nice and well renovated apartment. The owner is kind, organized and easy to communicated. Very good location, 15 minutes walking distance to the most of interesting places. Our group has 2 big families 12 people, including 3 old people and 5 kids. All of them really enjoyed the stay. The living room and kitchen are located in the bastment. It is very good. When the youngs stay late in the night, the old people can sleep well upstairs. Again, the owner is very nice and the aparment is perfect. Thank you!

Alt hvad man har brug for er i lejligheden, god beliggenhed. Mangler måske lidt udenomsplads til de lune aftener. Lidt overraskende var køkken og opholdsplads i kælder, men det fungerede fint til 12 mand.

My friends and I had a great stay in Porto. The house is spacious, clean, very comfortable and in a great location. We were a large group, 7, so the house was ideal. Luis was very helpful, allowing us to check in early and leave our bags for a few hours after check out. I would stay again on a return trip.

Beautiful house, fantastic host!
We were in Porto to celebrate my 50th birthday with friends and could not have stayed anywhere better! Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, great communal space, and an amazing location - close to all the centre and all the nightlife, but peaceful for sleeping. Luis was incredibly welcoming, and also arranged rooms for guests that we couldn't fit in this house in his property next door. We will be back!

Great house for large party
This is a brilliant house in a great location in central Porto with absolutely everything you could wish for to make your stay comfortable. All of the bedrooms are ensuit and indeed it is only one of a handdul of properties in Porto that can cater for a large group (10 of us). The kitchen and lounge area are very comfortable and the kitchen in particular is very well equipped with all you could wish for if you want to cook. There is also a separate utility room for washing. Each bedroom was beautifully decorated and with very comfy beds. In fact the whole house was in great conotion, very clean and recently decorated. The rooms are just as pictured. The supermarket, other shops and bars are on the next road up a slight hill. There is even a great wine bar next door. The university is about 5 minutes walk away and old Porto about q0 in yes walk. I would highly recommend the property if you want to a comfortable stay in Porto.

Un super séjour chez Luis
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Porto dans ce gîte très bien situé en plein coeur du centre ville. Luis nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Luis nous a accueilli dans sa belle maison. L'emplacement est idéal pour tout faire à pieds et dans un quartier vivant mais sans trop de touristes. Nous avons passé 4 jours merveilleux. On avait choisi cette maison pour les 6 chambres avec sdb. Tout se fait à pied. Restaurants à proximité ainsi qu’une supérette Métro et gare à 15 mn à pied. On a apprécié l’accueil et la disponibilité de Luis. On aurait aimé une bouteille de Porto à notre arrivée vu le montant de la location. Un très bon souvenir malgré le temps

beautiful and neatly restored house with enough space for a large group, but also for two people (to meet others). nostalgic wooden floors throughout the house with 6 spacious rooms and pleasant bathrooms. Many of the highlights within walking distance as well as lively bars. Trindade metro station approx. 12 minutes walk. The owner immediately gives you the feeling that you are welcome in his house.

Très bien située au centre de Porto cette maison sur 3 niveaux parfaitement équipée était idéale pour notre groupe de 6 avec une chambre plus salle de bains par personne… Le propriétaire parle bien français et nous a aidé pour des réservations de restaurant et de taxi… Je recommande sans réserve…
